Connecting xbox to imac via HDMI.
« on: December 1, 2018, 06:05:47 pm »
As the title states, looking to connect my xbox one to my late 2012 iMac.

I’ve got a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable but that only works one way, and not the way I need it to.

Any suggestions?
There’s no HDMI port on the mac, only 2 thunderbolt and 4 USB slots.

Already trying that mate, £19.99 fee though and there’s a bit of lag on it.

SPin up a Windows 10 virtual machine on your Mac and install the Xbox app?

To much hassle partitioning the drive then installing windows then having to boot to windows everytime I want to play the xbox.

Was more wondering if there’s a Thunderbolt to HDMI splitter or adapter box I could get? I’ve googled and can’t seem to find anything but google doesn’t always have the answers.
