How will you get there? I mean without the tube they are virtually isolated. It's a wasteland of nothing there! The tube is their only salvation.

If this gets postponed and the arsenal vs united game goes ahead, we should get 3 points as Fulham are refusing to play. Give them thatvootuon and the Jackson lovers will soon play it.

Doubt it, probably support the decision.

Struggle to see how both other London games can go ahead, which are harder to get to, and this one not.. Craven Cottage is relatively easy to get to without the need of the tubes.

I mean, it would be impossible, just impossible to hire several coaches to pick the staff up and drop them home. I mean, the few thousand it would take would be impossible to raise for a Premier League club who received £50m from Sky last year. Or, God forbid, let the staff get cabs in and pay for their fares.

How many staff would there even be, no more than a few coaches worth. Like someone said above, we should offer to provide transport for the stewards and see how they worm their way out of that.

We need to issue a statement on this.

What would the statement be

If I was Liverpool FC I would pay for taxi's for all the Fulham stewards.

Make sure the game goes ahead, and what a kind gesture by LFC.

I reckon the majority of the stewards live innLondon and probably very near the ground

It's an outrageous excuse

They could get an overground to Putney or West Kensington and either walk for ten minutes or jump on a 295 or 220 bus.

There is no way this can hold up
No. This is not correct

You cannot get overground to West Kensington, as it is only a tube station(District Line{source:lived my whole life in West Ken!})
Closest overgrounds, would be West Brompton (close to Stamford Bridge) Shepherds Bush, Kensington Olympia and Putney Bridge.
All are arguably in walking distance to the ground ranging from 15-35mins with Bush being the furthest or you just get whatever buses go down Fulham Palace Rd from those stations, cant help on the bus front as I don't use them shits.
If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don't, you will find an excuse.

A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.

Fuck knows how all the businesses will survive in and around Fulham on Wednesday & Thursday!! London will grind to a holt and people will be stranded! Stranded I tell you! This is the start of a treble double quadruple dip recession, mark my words!!
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

This is quite simple (but then again we're talking about the FA) ... either you call off all 3 London games this midweek or they all go ahead and if Fulham try to postpone they forfeit the game.

There is not 1 single reason why the game needs to be called off.

Actually how many stewards staff get the tube?

Half of them probably live on the a Fulham Palace Rd. Loads of students around there !

Really this doesn't hold up under any form of scrutiny.

Prob 250-300 max, compare that to the 3000 who have bought trains and will get nothing in return etc

As people said, 48 hours to go, and we're expected to buy the excuse that two squads of players, all the officials, the media, the fans etc can get to the ground for this game, but stewards can't?

Sod it, Liverpool Football Club should lay on a bus or pay for taxi's to get them to the ground if they're that daft to not do this themselves, or get the bus.

Fan safety is paramount, but the rational doesn't stack up, especially if other London games go ahead. I hope we petition the FA hard for this to go ahead, if not, for the 3 points for unwarranted forfeiture of the game.
Justice for the 96.

Loves a missed penalty!
