Tempted to change but I think the horse is quite popular on RAWK.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Bet you most people couldn't even tell you (without googling) what premier league teams he actually played for.

I originally thought this draft was based on Premier League careers. But this has opened up all new possibilities :D George Weah is a great pick - one of the most unstoppable strikers in the 90's for AC Milan.

A Ballon d'Or winner in 1995!

It is supposed to be based on Premier League careers. Alas, picks and votes are such that Deschamps would earm more kudos than Lee Cattermole, such is the way the world works.

Left this one to Prateek after sending him a long list.

He has sent in 2 picks, which I reckon we will get at least 1, and they would both be solid additions!
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

Not bad Chakan....
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Was close to going for Van Der Saar and  Van Nistelrooy but got a good amount already and couldn't risk Henry getting picked by someone else.

We were going to go for that combination, decided we wanted 2 players that would add significantly to our first team though.

Still lost out on Sturridge :(

Babble and Hamann and the Toures were high on our list.

Well done for getting Suarez and then Silva and Negredo too. Thought they might get blocked.

Delighted with both the picks. With Bale, Gazza and Waddle in the team I can pick Jozy Altidore as a striker and goals still won't be a problem.

You could pick a Ronaldo, Messi and Iniesta and goals would still be a problem with Altidore in the team.

Round Eight

We're getting geographical

Criterion - Pick a player who has played for a Town or a City in the Premier League. Yes, I mean team suffixes.

Deadline - 7pm GMT on 16th January, or when all drafters have submitted their selection (whichever is sooner).
