Just got creed royal oud, its class but not for everyday wear, more something to wear with a suit or grand occasion.

Whats it like compared to Aventus? I'm getting some more for my birthday in December, got Aventus last year and get so many comments from women about how good I smell.

 I was on a bit of Retro mission last year and bought myself a tin of Brut Deodorant Body spray stuff.  Fuck me its strong stuff. Not worn it again since.

The smell did remind me of the 70's and 80's but its just not the same anymore

On the subject of Body sprays a friend has just brought me back a tin of 'Pacha Ibiza' Body spray back from hols. Maybe the bitch is trying to tell me something!   Pretty sure its not exclusive to Ibiza like but it's really nice!!

I got the Hot Energy one.  Get the old faithful Sure or Right-guard sprayed underarm to keep you protected then a good few blasts of Pacha to get you smelling fine!!!  The Wetherspoons wont know whats hit it this weekend.

AVENTUS has a fresher feeling. royal oud is more stronger and comes across as classier. just ordered a decant creed silver mountain water, cant wait for that to arrive.

theres cheaper arab copies that very similar, aventus copy is laventure al haramain and its at 3rd of the price.

Got a bottle of Tom Ford Ombré Leather the other week off Duty Free.

Absolutely love it.  Not sure if i like it more than the 'Black Orchid' but its a close run thing.

Been using Armani Code and Boss in Motion for years, great scents. Also got a bottle of this freshly-made perfume in Cairo, god knows what it is but it's amazing, smells pure. Lasts ages too, even after showering.

Aventus is still the king in my book but the batch variation is a nightmare
 The modern post 2015/16 aventus is a very different experience to the pre 2015s.
I own 5 different batches from 2015 onwards and I just can't help but think the later stuff is a pale watered down version these days.
Millisime Imperial is fantastic as is Green Irish Tweed.

I remember our kid spraying a load of that on me before a night out about 30 years ago. I never wore anything but deodorant in them days - smelling nice and wearing Iron Maiden T-shirts and chain belts didn't mix with me, so I was not happy with him making me smell like a tarts handbag.

These days I'm on Jean Paul Gaultier L'Homme for day to day and still got Aventus for going out with the wife.

Floris Limes is nice, and lasts quite a few hours, expensive though.

Recently bought a bottle of after shave /refreshing gel from the Rituals store at Cheshire Oaks, online also, slightly thicker than your usual after shave but smells really nice and feels great on the skin also.

I've just got the new Dior Sauvage and it it absolutely beautiful. One of the best I've had in recent times
