Roamed around a bit today. Aside from that camp with soldiers and sheep, I can’t find anything I can tackle. Through the gate some huge beast stomps me while archers pick me off. Is this where I’m supposed to go?

I've found that I run away or through enemies a lot!!
Am slowly starting to get the hang of it.

After working over the weekend and also the final, I absolutely smashed this with at least 20 hours over Monday and Tuesday I've beaten Margitt, Godrick, and the next story boss I can only really mention without spoiling by saying there is a Full Moon involved. After an initial wander around Caelid and realising I was underlevelled, I'm now lvl 61 I think and have a +13 Claymore (might be +15). Waiting to find the next story boss that I can actually take on as the "Festival" in Caelid humbled me a bit

Once I hit lvl 50 I had a great time running back to the side bosses in Limgrave and smacking them about a bit. A few Evergaol bosses which dominated me on Friday were being staggered with every hit.

I've really enjoyed the Full Moon fight and have stood outside as a summon for at least 10 victories over it now.

you're a brave man. so often i'll use the speed and agility of my horse to get back some runes i dropped in a dangerous area. it's so convenient, especially for death running, but part me of does wonder if it would've been better to give you the horse a bit later on. walking makes the world feel bigger, and you appreciate the surroundings a bit more.

if i were you i'd head south over the bridge of sacrifice, lots of cool shit down there

The 'Festival' is such a cool fight but god is it a complete piss take Ended up 'easy moding' it with Rotten Breath and keeping my distance (I actually respecced to get this as I was pure melee). Surprised to know it's completely optional.

For those who've made it to the NPC area (the name escapes me - where the blacksmith resides) there's a bloke in there that is asking me to find his friend. A girl he describes as a 'Tomboy'... Can anyone tell me if the girl is in the Limgrave section of the map? I don't want a full spoiler, just to know which section of this monstrous map I need to be searching and possibly whether it's a day/night event. Thankyouplease

Just watched a video of a player fighting a boss called "Nights Cavalry".  Player had the boss down to almost zero health while only having 1 HP left himself

He circles around the boss on horseback ready to realease an arrow and probably defeat the boss.

From absolutely nowhere, a random flame wielding soldier appears and burns our hero's single HP

i've a feeling i'll be going back to it later though - some friends who are further along in the game have told me 2 of the later bosses are the hardest in From's history

After quite a few tries of taking on General Radahn the right way, I ended up doing the Rot Breath cheese and doing him in about 2 hits. Thats really not as good a bossfight as FromSoft think it is and it might get a bit of re-working.

I got stuck for a bit there too. Just make a beeline for the mine entrance and you'll be fine. Maybe drop your equipment load if you need to so you can move faster.

I explored further north east but the next story boss I took on was the Festival in Caelid. There's a fair few roaming bosses in the Plateau that handed my arse to me.

Stay above ground, if you check your map you should see Limgrave is westward roughly, head thataway

There’s a site of grace not long after you come out IIRC (before encountering any more enemies). One you rest at it you’ll be able to travel back.

Think I've made the *mistake of running past too many enemies on horseback and opening up sites of grace and collecting map segments. I've basically got the whole map opened up now with a million sites of grace open and I've only done the second story boss! No idea now where I've really been or where I've been and need to go back to, what free-roaming bosses are still up outside of Limgrave etc...

Also - has anyone said no to an NPC that's asked if you'll support them? I haven't and there's been about 4/5 now... no idea of the implications but the last one feels very much like it's set me on a path...

After the 2nd story boss I've

gone to the north west, got past the spectral horse mounted boss and made it to Ranni, but no real idea where I'm supposed to go next. I think it's Caelid and the fortress because I need to get the 2nd half of a broken disc to open the grand lift to the north, but I've got past that lift via the Dragon Wyrm boss at the top of the ravine section..

Standard souls really. I'm pretty well levelled, not particularly well specialised and whilst I've been to loads of places I'm not really sure what's going on and where I need to go next....

And loving every session I get with it.

After defeating the main Raya Lucaria boss, you can re-spec your stats. I had to do this to defeat the Caelid boss by giving myself enough Faith to cheese him. So don't worry about your stats for now. At some point you'll probably re-spec again when you find a cool weapon like the Ghiza Wheel.

I don't think you can with hers, I'm level 111 in the late game and haven't seen where you would do it. You can get to the Liurnia Lakes Divine Tower if you follow Ranni's questline but there isn't an opportunity to do this like there is on the other Divine Towers (I've done 4 of 6).
