Just watched episode 3.

So it was Minister Zhang who got Trump in power. ;D

I enjoyed that episode.

Bobby Cannavale's character is brilliant in this.

I have to say, I found this show very pedestrian. I enjoyed Rami Malek's work but I couldn't stick with the show. Way too slow for me.

This show has some balls. I'm amazed it has that narrative it does and is still managing to do well enough on American TV to get more series green lit for it.

Going to have to give season 2 another go, loved the first season, think I watched about 3 or 4 episodes of season 2 and gave up.

Easily the best thing on TV for me. Hats off to Sam Esmail (mass email) and others for the work they have put in. I like all those details but threads on reddit really got to me, truly unique show.
The biggest problem anywhere in the world is that people's perceptions of reality are filtered through the screening mesh of what they want, and do not want, to be true.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. A complete episode with lovely direction as well.

Also enjoy Bobby Cannavale since his Boardwalk Empire. Am probably wrong cause I hadn't watched him before but since then and whenever I've seen him play, have this feeling that casting directors and writers have tried to shoehorn him into a certain role.

Minister Zhang is when he's male

Whiterose when she is feminine.

The character is Transgender,i'm guessing in public office having a Transgender politician high up in China  wouldn't go down well with the communist party. ;)

Season 3 is really good isn’t it. Esmail has clarified the story, certainly compared to Season 2. I like how it’s simply about Elliot and Darlene’s relationship. And Tyrell’s mission obviously, tied in with the ice-cold Angela. Irving (Cannavale) is an awesome addition to the cast, keeping things grounded a bit, away from the high-concept mystery of the dark army.

I'm not fully up to date yet but loving this.

I suppose we should wait until season 3 is over but I think I'm liking it more than season 1 - which is very high praise indeed. I just find myself looking forward to the next week more and more.

Spoiler
Will be gutted if this weeks ep means the end of the Whiterose and Price scenes . Absolutely love them. That "because, Phillip, I had to ask you twice" was a legendary villain moment. You almost felt sorry for Price. Might be cheesy anywhere else but man alongside such a depressing episode, it was perfect.

Or you could just watch it? Many Mr Robot watchers raving about it now would acknowledge it was a bit convoluted last season and a fall off from the first. Terrific stuff right now though.

I liked 2nd season. Can't believe how many people jumped on the bandwagon and completely wrote off 2nd season (this is not aimed at you, just saying)

Episode 5 was absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic tension and camerawork. And the lovely
Portia Doubleday was excellent. Definitely a bit of Hitchcock blonde
going on there and Esmail seems to be a Stanley Kubrick fan as well.

3rd Season must be one of the best things on telly right now.

Surprised no one has commented on episode 8. Different from the pace and direction of the previous ones but wonderful in its own way and deep.

Shocking, nostalgic, bonding, there was sadness (much sadness), poignant and some lovely scenes and colours like this one.

It seemed like a pretty cliche set up and oh man do I hate child actors but yeah, I thought it was done very well.

The show seems to actually be based around childhood traumas to a degree, if you read about Multiple Personality Disorder it often occurs as a result of traumatic childhood so I do think it was a very important episode. Made sense that only a young kid could get through to Elliot.

Fantastic episode.

One thing though

Spoiler
Elliot is Elliot but why would he let his father alone dying there? I mean everyone reacts differently in these situations but I had troubles understanding Elliot's reaction, it was so cold and inhumane (again I know how Elliot behaves but this was super weird)
