Can't see that mate surely?? Isn't it UEFA rules that no alcohol is sold during European games

Thought it was only with English teams, I'm not 100% though. We went to Milan v Zenit on our way to Udine a few years ago an got leathered in the San Siro, bevvying in the stands all game.
They all laugh at us, They all mock at us, They all say our days our numbered.

I just don't get how hard it is for our ticket office to pick up the phone and ring there ticket office and ask what allocation and what the ticket price is. Then they can do a provisional message and say 'we are getting such and such amount at £... and all members with 2 aways from last season will be guaranteed'

Then people can make plans and stuff instead of having to wait round for them to fuck about whilst flight and hotel prices increase.

Looking at booking flights here. Is anyone on the Limoges - Bristol flight on the Friday?
Need to be home on the friday and seems the only possible (not too expensive) way. Heavy day travelling with a 4hr train back to liverpool tho

How can anybody contemplate going to this and not gorging themselves on local vin rouges?  I will certainly be doing that!  Imagine the Irish Bar will have a big chunk of the atmosphere as usual though, will have to split our time carefully!

Bordeaux to Charleroi

Charleroi to Manchester could be a better option

For anyone desperate to save a buck - MegaBus do a direct service from Liverpool to Brive-La-Galliard (about 2hrs from Bordeaux). Costs £32 each way but takes a day to get there.

I'd personally pay the extra 60/70 quid to get there in an hour or two.

I think it means, LFC supporters can buy away allocation from the club. (Will be blocks 52-56).
Bordeaux will sell blocks either side to LFC supporters too. If people don't have credits or whatever.

So if my ticket does not arrive in time AGAIN! I still have a chance of strolling up to the stadium and picking one up there on matchday?

That'll be plan C sorted then.

Remember now I went to that Irish pub last year. And had a few glasses of Bordeaux afterwards in one of these little bars outside.

France is a weird country. Cheaper drinking wine than beer

Wine is better than beer anyway, particularly in Bordeaux, possibly the best wine region on the planet.

Bullshit, maybe years gone by, many years (before their additive scandal)...anyway we will discuss that soon enough I guess.

Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.
