Taken me over an hour to get through on phones. Lad I spoke to seemed confused about which blocks were lower & upper.  Can anyone confirm if B1P & B2P are lower and B1B & B2B are upper, which was what he eventually seemed to decide on.

over two hours on the 0843, the international line is surprisingly free...

Did they let you purchase on that line?

So you aren't just buying them to sell on and get the credit would be my bet.

I live in Salford now and have alot of mates who are United fans who go European aways. They have to pick up their tickets in that city where the game is with their passport to prove its them so they can't just credit hunt.

About time Liverpool started doing that.

TO need to get their act together on this sort of thing.  When I asked which blocks they had available & which were upper/lower, the guy I spoke to had no idea.  Had to put me on hold to ask supervisor.  Then when he did say which was which he contradicted himself & had to go & ask again. When you're selling tickets the key aspects of the product are where they're situated.  If the TO staff don't know that, then what are they doing?  Impression they give is that we should just be grateful to have a ticket regardless.

Guessing everyone's gonna stand where they want anyway so no reason to get upset. Still a valid point that they should know what they're selling, obviously.

Don't know if it will be the same but i've just been for the England game and anyone in the lower could only be in the lower, wouldn't let you through to the upper without showing that you had an upper ticket.

Upper tier once inside could walk down to the lower no problem.

The tight c*nts need to invest in the community and provide more jobs for local people.... plenty of people stuck for work that could work in the call centre instead of having 1 person and spending hours on hold . . .

Or lets just take the piss out of the city with the dearest home European tickets in the country .
If he scores more goals than Torres this season ill change me name to Carol.

Done, 1 hour constant redial, another 10 minutes of redial, 22 minutes listening to 'Fields of Anfield Road'  and being told I'm number 3.....2....1 in the queue then a further 6 minutes sorting the ticket.

What's it going to be like for Real Madrid away? When twice as many tickets will be available. Perhaps they'll double up and have 2 operators on for that!

I've been trying all day and getting the all our lines are busy message.  In the end I tried to get it through the home sales line.  The woman asked her supervisor and told me they couldn't sell it to me.

I tried the international line, got through straight away and sold me the ticket no probs.

I forgot to ask about the part of the ground though and she didn't ask me what I wanted.  I've had the email and it's block B1P.

I'm confused a bit because I read earlier in the thread that B is upper and P is lower but I've got both letters.  Never mind, sorted now and can't wait.

BP is lower. P stands for parket which is the lower stand

The block is B1 and the last letter is upper (B) or lower (P).

Reckon there are about two people on the phones - the caller queue reduces by two every 7/8 minutes. This is appalling.   >:(

Went over to the ticket office to try sort it, she then gave me 2 tickets for lower from her desk till... as she went to register them on the computer they'd already been sold on the phones.. swear there is no communication in that ticket office!

Finally sorted, both upper and lower tiers share the same concourse so probably wouldn't have been a problem going between the tiers but puts peace of mind.

Find it appauling that they haven't included Members with 1 in the further sale. I'm lucky enough to have a ST now (albeit not in my name and I still have a membership that I use for the cup games to keep my credits up as I won't have that ST forever). I know how hard it is building up them credits, so to not be included is a huge kick in the balls, to put it bluntly for those who aren't lucky enough to be able to afford Hospitality or have a season ticket. I understand that the response would be "you should have gone to the other games", but it's expensive enough going to just the home games (most expensive european home tickets in the UK someone mentioned elsewhere), not everyone can do 3 european trips in a small period of time.

Rant over! (For the time being).
