Hopefully Valencia recover from the damage that scum like Mendes are doing to them.
I had a outside bet on them to get relegated at the start of the season at 100/1, the way they have started I got a slim chance of it happening.

Ruben Castro is quality though still scoring goals at this age.

Been brilliant to watch them today.
3 of the best 4 players in the world all playing for one team. Probably won't see anything like it for some time so I'm enjoying watching them whenever I can.

No surprise Enrique has decided to play Neymar, Suarez and Messi today after last weekend's debacle. They could run up any number of goals.

Barca ae just brilliant, Suarez 1 goals 1 assist, Neymar 1 goal 1 assist, Messi 2 goal 2 assists. They have an outstanding goal and assist record between them.

Gameiro got his first league goal in open play that's going to be a big confidence boost for him.

Simeone also playing more attacking lineups now against the smaller teams, I think he's finally realized that playing 4 center midfielders against the weaker teams in La Liga is a overkill

Gameiro scored a penalty against Alaves, so it's his second. He should be starting almost every game, he's a very good player. He has far more to offer than Torres these days

As you say neymars record is great but when you look at other 2 it seems average. Any other team/player would be made up with that return.

I am not a huge fan of the situation when the coach is fired and the assistant coach takes over. Pako, rightly or wrongly, seems to lack loyalty after his split with Rafa Benitez and even Neville.

Yep. Aduriz scored a pair of stunning goals, but this Valencia side isn't a team unfortunately. Lots of Mendes clients though. Mangala was absolutely destroyed by Aduriz

They need to get Marcelino who was at Villarreal otherwise they are fucked.

Marcelino is a very good coach, who is capable of turning around that club.

Shame that, he had a strong end to last season and really thought he'd do a decent job there. He did better than Gary fucking Neville anyway.

I've just been looking at this and it's not true actually. Neville managed 4 more league games, but both he and Ayesteran picked up just 3 league wins. Under Neville Valencia averaged 0.88 points per game. Under Ayesteran Valencia averaged 0.83 PPG.

They had the expected 'new manager bounce' but absolutely stank the place out under Ayesteran, they've lost their last 7 league matches straddling last season and this. Neville was undoubtedly shit but Pako was just as bad, if not worse it has to be said.
