They have a great attitude and his 2yo's are always worth a look especially with this trainer...

No doubt, I'm just saying for his legacy as a stallion he needs a few really, really good horses.

One Master should be hard to beat, very consistent at this level.

Maydanny was well supported last time from memory so would be good to see some money for it

He was backed in to favourite that day yeah, so this is a bit concerning.

I didn't get involved was unsure about the ground. Caesar's Commet a non runner in the last at the Curragh so that's me done for the day. Just King Vega for me tomorrow in the Solario.

Yep once it went soft I had a feeling I’d done my money. Still I backed Fujaira Prince just before the off so all good.
That’s it til Doncaster for me, hoping to go on St Leger day if they’re doing at test event

Fahey gamble ?

I'll be keeping an eye on the 15:30 Wolves to see if there's any money for Bravo Faisal.

This one has been running on turf (very poorly and at double figure odds) but has won on the All Weather last year and remains unexposed as 3 year old .

Today he returns  to the All Weather and Fahey has had a few winners there over the past few weeks so Bravo Faisal could be primed for a big run.

The market will tell all near the off.  Currently available at 9/1 but last night was put up at 16's which quickly went...

Update:

Bravo now 9.4 on betfair. Little bits of money but nothing substantial yet. ideally want to see it backed into 6/1 or around that and 2nd Favourite .

Just noticed the thus far this season disappointing Quadrilateral returns in the 3.10 at Sandown. Short price given things haven’t gone to plan this season and you never know what you’re gonna get from Billesdon Brook.

Sticking to a mile as well, when she looked to me like she wanted further in the 1000 Guineas

I like Lightness for Her Majesty in the 16:50, Sandown

Trainer in decent form + Shamardal she looks like lovely filly and is fancied in the market (as of writing)

Such a shame for Tregoning, his first group one winner since Sir Percy.

I haven’t noticed more than usual to be honest but the good flat horses have such a short career it’s sad when it gets curtailed.

Yeah maybe it's not the case and I'm just more aware of it these days I suppose.

Sometimes I’m sceptical when a horse’s last run is its best run (Get them breeding before they have a chance to be beaten) but I don’t think Maktoum or Tregoning are like that. The horse had been highly tried previously.

Yeah if it was a smaller owner you might think there's something more at play but the big boys want to win the big prizes that's what they're in the sport for.

Usually it’s the Coolmore lot with their sometimes average Derby winners who do this to protect their value.

Hope it’s not just me (and it has absolutely nothing to do with misogyny), but anyone else find it difficult to listen to motormouth Leonna Mayor on Sky Sports racing?

It’s not just the ‘stream of consciousness’ non stop rabbiting, but the (to my ears) nasal whine of her voice🤭

Don’t think it’s considered especially testing, but a much better race than the 7f one Pinatubo won, ground is supposed to be decent so I’m siding with the older horses Circus Maximus and Persian King who would be a lot shorter if not for his last run.

Literally just switched the tv on to see them mention that. Thankfully I’ve got free cancellation on our hotel in Doncaster until lunchtime tomorrow. But really annoying was looking forward to going racing again, it seemed like they’d put a lot of work into make it as safe as possible, but it doesn’t bode well for the coming weeks in general and getting crowds back at the football from October either.

Not sure how I fucked that up.

Frenetic, another one I've mentioned, goes in Doncaster today.

Lost by less than a length to Miss Amulet two starts back. Not sure why she is 5/1 and Sacred is 15/8.
