I'd take Sessegnon to the World Cup. He's good enough.

He is. I see something about them waiting until after the World Cup before getting him in the squad but if he’s good enough, he’s old enough Surely? I can’t see what harm it will do besides raise his transfer fee.

Does the Championship have retrospective suspensions ?  If they do that rat Cahill won't be playing again this season.

Been an enjoyable game this, even the 1st half that was 0-0 was a good watch.

I’ve just watched 25 minutes of him... doesn’t look so great

Interesting to see which one of Cardiff or Fulham gets 2nd. Mind you Cardiff have played two games less and are just two points behind Fulham.

Not just yet, they're 6 points behind 21st placed Bolton with 2 games to play. 22nd placed Barnsley have a game in hand as well and if they win that Sunderland are down.

Meanwhile it's 5-5 in the Bristol v Hull game :o

Sky sports saying they are officially down , but still fuck me , imagine supporting a team that finished bottom of the league two years in a row.

I hope Mr Wilson got a couple?

Millwall in the playoff spots!?  :o

Derby have a match in hand but still...

2. Fulham 85
3. Cardiff 84
4. Villa 82

5. Boro 72
6. Millwall 69
7. Derby 68
8. Brentford 68
9. Preston 67
10. Bristol City 66
11. Sheffield United 66

Crazy close for the last auto spot and the last playoff spot.

Millwall have boro away and villa at home (although villa will probably be locked in 4th by then so probably won’t be arsed), fair fucks to them if they get in the playoffs though, think Bristol, Sheffield United and Preston have blown their chances now tho

It's so often the case that the team that just sneaks into the play offs ends up being the team that gets promoted. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the 3rd promoted team came from that list between 6th and 11th.

Getting out of the Championship next season will be absolute carnage - likely to be WBA, Soton, Stoke joining Villa or Fulham who I think will make the play-off final

Interesting side note,  I'm not sure if it's ever happened before but if Burton go down (and depending on who comes up) then every team in the Championship will have had at least 1 season in the top flight (and I am including life before the premier league)

Just seen that former Liverpool youngster Lee Peltier plays right back at Cardiff. Back in the prem next season, well done mate. He's 31 years old by the way, makes me feel like Albus Dumbledore remembering watching him turn out for the reserves at 20.

Peltier is 31? Christ that makes me feel old too! Played a few League Cup games, would it have been around 2007? Possibly played in that 6-3 v Arsenal? Well done to him.

Played the whole 90 in a CL game against Galatasaray IIRC. That's Coady and Peltier from our youth setup who will be coming up to the Premier League. Ayala came up with Boro, although they went straight back down. Shelvey with Newcastle, Ince with Huddersfield Town. Sergi Canos isn't doing too bad for himself, with Brentford sitting 8th in the Championship. Anybody else from the youth setup that's worked their way up recently? Not too bad I guess. In a few years, we should be looking at a smattering of our ex-players playing at mid-lower table clubs if this continues, similar to Ferguson's era where the league was infested with ex-Mancs. Would do us a world of good regards to getting favourable transfer fees and loans.

Klopp would turn Sessegnon into a world beater. Can see a few issues that would disappear with a bit of coaching. Needs to run with his head up a little bit as well.

Be gutted if he goes elsewhere.

Awful officiating again. Clear offside in real time for the winning goal.
