Well that was a bit shite wasn't it.

To be expected though really isn't it so not too arsed, just want this titlke won ASAP though so we need to get something at City.

Don’t City go to Stamford Bridge before they play us?

Always seemed like it was going to end 0-0. Everton came to shut up shop and nick it late if they got the chance. Can’t blame them for that as the gulf in quality between the two sets of players is ridiculous. Had they come out and attacked we would have picked them off at will.

A lot of rust out there but Keita and Allison were our star performers. Nothing new from the latter but promising for Naby.

Expected it to be poor but that was a bit shite. Shame Keita came off as he looked like he wanted to try something. Sometimes a player having a shot from outside the box when its all a bit tight in the box can help in these situations.

Anyway a win on wednesday would be good though expect palace to play the same.

Yep, don't remember Pickford having a save of note to make other than from a free kick which was fairly routine. We just either forgot or didn't want to shoot at all.

Mo seemed to be earmarked for the last 20 minutes but we'd used all our subs.

Injuries couldn't be helped but the Ox, Origi and Wijnaldum subs offered absolutely nothing.

I thought Ox was particularly disapointing - rarely seemed to make himself available marking himself out the game and when he did get the ball made poor decisions. We should have lost that game so relieved we have a point

We were truly mediocre today, I'd argue worse than against Watford.  If we play like that against any of the other top 10, we'd have lost - hopefully Salah back for the Palace game will help, as none of the front 3 tonight looked near their best.  Still not sure why Keita, who was the best player on the pitch by a mile, was taken off - completely knocked the stuffing out of us, and our MF stopped being able to drive forward instantly.

What worries me though is that with the AFCON still (for now) scheduled for Jan/Feb next year, we could have an entire month without Keita, Mane AND Salah - which could easily de-rail a title defence if City, for instance, stick closer to our tail next year

Apart from the post being hit and Calvert Lewin heading wide, we were pretty solid defensively.

Hopefully from now we have Robertson and Salah fully fit and firing along with the others of course!  8)

Everton just content not to lose apart from a brief ten minute spell, absolutely gutless considering their the home team. But we need to sharpen our play.
Yet the narrative will be they had two great chances. Fuckin refused to leave their half for the rest of the game and Carlo telling his subs to slow down says it all.

He doesn't offer anything in that position. Would rather we'd have waited for Salah to come on to make that change and brought Ox on for Keita on the hour.

Richarlison is such a little c*nt. His big mouth talk all week, then cries bumping into Milner and then is just shit.

Yep. One day some one is going to seriously injure him and a ref will disregard his boy who cried wolf shite. Most insufferable player in the league.

Turgid game.

They were well set up to defend and rode their luck a little in that our final pass was off.
I guess they had a 5-10 minute spell at the end but even that came from them being offside and us carrying on and losing the ball.

Shout out to Calvert-Lewin who is a disgrace of a footballer - just jumps at people, second only to Richarlison who seems to wear skates.

Keita looked lively as did Ox. Some great skill from Bobby at times and Virgil as assured as ever.

I do think Klopp needs to think carefully about left back as we missed Robbo and don't have anyone who can play close to that role.

Thought the team selection and some of the subs by Klopp were odd but it's not the worst result in the world. Our first eleven is such a well oiled machine that you can really see it when 1-2 players are unavailable.

Very poor game and we never really got going. Far too many long hopeful balls from us and not enough quick passing. Hopefully we’ll get much better and that Salah and Robertson return.

Origi and gomez as a combination on the left was rough. Really needed some sort of width there.

Problem was made worse by the fact Mo was on the bench, which pretty much killed off the right as an outlet and forced us towards the centre of the pitch.

Everton much more disciplined than usual, which is what you get when you have a class manager like Ancelotti. Lovren is just on another planet isn't he? We were so smooth with Matip and Virgil and then the excitement comes. Thought we were much better in the first half and as soon as Keita and Bobby went off, we kind of collapsed.

Would be nice if Burnley could do get something at Manchester City.
