Keita growing into this team.. he’s been so good ripping into them.

32' Matip with a beauty of a pass that gets to Mane in a very dangerous position but he hacks it wide.

Best chance of the match for Liverpool - good work by Keita in the build up to that

Keita is certainly doing well, we could do with scoring before half time, otherwise its going to come when we don't want it too.

35' - Reds continue to press and work the ball but lose it. Bayern break quickly via Coman who runs it all the way up and earns a corner

36' - Ball cleared, comes back and TAA breaks forward but it's pinched off him. Lewa takes a shot and Alisson tips it around for a corner. Corner is taken but cleared easily

I was looking at some stats before this game, Bayerns winning of second ball is actually better than ours has been this season and I think its showing a bit in parts of this game.

37' Pace hasn't let up - Mane and Firmino work the ball into the box but can't get a clear shot. Ball lands at Keita's feet and deflected to Mane who can't quite get it on target.

Another corner to Bayern from the break

38' - corner was high and handsome but dropped into dead space and Alisson gathers. Liverpool break, Bayern break back - Ketia is caught but the ref plays advantage and Mane around the back is well defended away. Corner to the reds is cleared - we break back and Firmino lays it on but Matip can't bury it.

40' - It's intense - can hardly keep up with the comms...

That move earlier involved an excellent back heel from Salah to find Bobby, who in turn found Matip - oi reckon Mane/Ketia/Salah buries that chance

42' - Bayern break and Gnabry feeds an excellent ball into the box that Matip clears well. Corner comes in and is cleared.

Robbo very wary of Gnabry.

Hendo with excellent work in defence as Mane loses the ball. Gnabry well beaten by the Captain

What a half
