Imagine this - England scrape past a depleted Portugal. France edge out Brazil 1-0 by killing the game and hitting them once on the break. England then do what they should've done two years ago and scrape past an inferior French side 1-0.

...suddenly England '1-nilling' their way to the cusp of glory doesn't appear so far fetched.  :o

Shows how wrong pundits and the media are, Spain had a great time in the group stages compared to France but the only thing that matters is who continues to win.

I wanted to see extra time myself, can't see that now.

By the way, anyone agree that Fabregas has been awful tonight? He gave the ball away for the first and third French goals, and he's been nowhere near his best. Personlly think the occasion got to him a bit, but he needs to be able to handle the pressure.

Nicely taken 3rd goal but the game should still be going to extra time were it not for Henry's antics. Hey ho, hope Brazil give France the pasting they deserve for their shocking form, in the semis.
