Why? That's obviously what its referred to in the country they are from? Why should being from a different country mean they cant have a discussion about football?
+3 . Though it took me a while to figure out what BPL might mean. Strange that it would be referred to as that.

It will end up in a goalless draw with 70% possession for 'angry' City.  :D

Why are people only mentioning the draw as the hopeful result?  Utd can win this.

Nothing can be taken for granted in footy, that's why City have lost 4 times already this season and have been knocked out the CL.

Even if City win tonight, they could still get injuries to key players or a red card or 2. Either way in those remaining 3 games there is still a chance they may drop points. To make that more possible we have to keep winning, to heap the pressure on the cheats.

The way some of our fans are thinking, if City win tonight our Huddersfield game is a dead rubber. No Chance, anyway I'm expecting a Man Utd victory tonight!

It will be interesting to see how the Old Trafford crowd are tonight and if they get behind them.  Anyone remember when Ross Barclay scored for Everton to put them 1-0 up against city in 2014 after we had lost to Chelsea.  You could hear a pin drop in the crowd.  Why even go if you want your team to lose.

Going by the odds, it's far more likely to be an era-defining massacre than it is a draw, let alone a win for United.

Going by the fact that United are made of bigjobs and managed by a Dungeons and Dragons character, we're looking to Brendan Rodgers to win it for us.

That's right, those are the three games they have left. We don't need them to lose, we just need a draw.

Leicester are a decent top half team and have the likes of Vardy who can score from nothing.

Burnley are safe and can play without pressure.

Brighton are almost certain to lose but...

A win makes them massive favourites but the reason football is such a brilliant game is that it's not totally predictable at this level. If it was, Man City would have won those games in December and be champions already.

Seems like the Blues in GrandOldTeam love our title chase...

- De Bruynes injury is a blow. Liverpool have lucked out all season on injuries.

+ Alan0401
- Any Huddersfield players really good at injuring players? May as well go down in style.

+ Khalekan
- I am detecting a distinct lack of confidence now in their Title quest.
They believe City will win all four remaining games... Spurs was their last best hope.
And whereas they feared United might not be particularly arsed in the Manc derby, they now feel it matters not if they are arsed or not, United are so poor that City will win.

if we were going for the title, would any of you blues be arsed to go on RAWK create fake accounts to make them look bad? Or would you be more focused on our title challenge?

They are trying to make out the situation was the same. It wasn't as we weren't in with a shot of CL. No way would I want us to throw a game with potential CL in the balance. If that's what you want then you hate your enemy more than you love your own team.

Agreed. It's really pathetic. If they prove not to be good enough tonight as I and many expect, so be it, but to actively want your side to throw a shot at CL football is perverse.

Well firstly, what does 'BPL' mean?  There is no such thing as that so you've kicked off on the wrong foot.  Secondly, it's an Americanism to use terms like that to differentiate between baseball, gridiron and basketball (I assume) but we've no conflicting interests.  There's football, football and, erm...what's the other one?  Oh yeah, football.  Any letters used like that are superfluous and mark the user down as someone who's trying but not fully conversant with the topic yet.

Calling football soccer. Calling the league the 'BPL/EPL'. People who call united 'manure' or city 'shitty'. People who refer to games against united as a derby.

It's not neccessarily precluding them from a discussion about football, though that was what the post said, it just makes me cringe.

We have to remember that these have lost to Newcastle and Crystal Palace this season.
We also have to remember that they've only lost one home PL game all season, back in August.

They are shit yes, but I wouldn't fancy us having to go there and get three points in order to all but secure the title.

Part of me thinks they will be destroyed but another part of me keeps thinking it's the Derby, it'll be tough, etc.
