Ashamed.

Was judging most of the game. "Why are we waiting so long for subs"? "Lallana off?!"
Mostly ashamed for hugging my oblivious roommate when Mane scored.

Favorite match this season. That high is nothing compared to when we dominate.

Great composure grabbing a winner at the end...

And how in the world was Barkley not sent off and given at least a 3-match ban for that tackle on Henderson? Tackles like that have ended seasons and even careers

What an intense last 8 mins. I was rooting for a goal at the end when the bitters are really tired. I noticed that they keep dropping back in the final 15mins and hanging on for a draw. Once Mane scored they collapsed. They cannot muscle any energy in the last 3 mins to get back possession and on 2 occasions we could have killed the game off. Firmino moved unmarked and unchallenged into the box in the final mins and only a desperate goal line clearance prevented him from a well deserved goal (that lad work his socks off).  Klopp masterstroke to soak the pressure and hit them in the 2nd half works. It destroyed their believe that they can nick something from this game. The more the game wore on, the less confidence they can muster. Pumping long balls to Yakubu was the only thing they can think off. That way the midfielders can rest a little. Sturridge's strike was purely opportunistic and it caught the keeper out of position. Of course Mane reacted the quickest and slot easily with the 2 centerbacks chasing shadows.

Onwards and Upwards Redmen! Let's do Stoke next!

Beautiful. Christmas dinner will taste so good this year.

Lovren suddenly appearing through the smoke with open arms was my favourite image of today. Can we get a gif?

Mane. What a buy! His reactions are like lightning.

Mane for me was phenomenal, with his workrate, pressing, hassling, darting at pace etc. He always seems to have an extra yard of pace in him, compared to everyone else. His one two confused their defence and caused their keeper to get injured. He was behind their defenders at the time of the shot and yet managed to get in front of everyone to score. Loved how Lovren and Klavan bossed their non-existent attack. Henderson and Lallana as usual superb. Must say that we've seen much much better from Firmino, although probably most of us would have a much more positive opinion had he converted one of his chances. Sturridge coming back was such a major boost. He has that special ability in his locker that can unlock any defence. Just worried about what we will do in January when Mane goes. What a signing the lad is !

It's funny thinking back to the commentary - it seemed the prevailing narrative would be that Lukaku would dominate Klavan. Despite Lukaku being anonymous, it was being suggested that Klavan was struggling. Yes, Lukaku won some flick ons but they nearly always dropped to Mignolet. Klavan was great.

So many Liverpool players really stepped up and give it to Everton.
Particularly Henerson.

Wjnaldum too.
All good.

Have a word with yourself, dickhead Dutch bastard.

A very deliberate effort from those scumbags to get him sent off after Barkleys assault.  Thankfully  the officials saw right through it.  I'd guess that was Evertons biggest game of the season and now that they've failed so spectacularly I expect them to properly fade away. Honestly their one of the worst teams we've played this season. Burton would give them a game.

I wanna make a special mention to our defenders who allowed Everton pretty much nothing and once they weathered that initial 'Storm', the foundation was then set for our midfielders/attackers to do their thing and slot one home before the final whistle and boy they didn't disappoint 😎 ... Merry Xmas redmen.

What's going on withn this post here?
This is why the internet is an awful place.

Henderson himself, the recipient of Barkley's tackle; which of course was a red and summed the lad up for me was dignified and cool.
But you decide that he is a 'foul human'?
Get te fuck!

Couldn't have been a better result. I'm laughing here.

For about 90 minutes yesterday, my stream held up just fine until it blacked out in the 92nd minute. I got up to change the stream when my phone vibrated: "Goal Alert: Sadio Mané. Everton 0 Liverpool 1." The next stream I found was already in the 96th minute, but that didn't change my absolute delight ;D

That was a gritty, important win. Well done, Redmen! That's now two wins in two derby matches for Jürgen (and also almost the second time one of our players almost gets his leg broken).
Last resort if you need tickets in Switzerland.
