I have completed borderlands 3 times and played all DLC.

I will do this once more before the second one. I've about 125hours spent in the first so really looking forward to this.

Didn't quite dig the first one. Why do all those dogs and birds always respawn?
Just didn't get what the game was about other then shallow shooting even though I liked the graphics.
Will the second one have more rpg elements?

Hope so. The article I saw indicated it would, (was Norwegian sumthin' sumthin' - I'll see if I can dig it up). Also indicated the multiplayer would be even better. No opinion on this as I single-played it all the time..

So gutted I never managed to "click" with Borderlands.  I didn't have an opportunity to play it co-op and the annoying things really bugged me about this game like constant respawning enemies e.t.c.

I still would like to pick this up as again it looks brilliant.  I hope I can enjoy it more.  Maybe in a few months if there is a deal on it.

I really like that aspect though. Makes it easier to level up and get loot, etc. What would be the fun in replaying it if the enemies just stayed dead?

True, I found it a little bit of a pain though.  I suppose I need to get into it more and then be prepared for each area.

BOught the first one, loved the style but felt playing it as solo I wasn't getting the full experience. The mobs seemed to respawn every 30 seconds too which was frustrating

i can't understand this nonsense, why release it today in the US and in Europe on thursday. It's not like co-op will be played on their servers, it's all p2p co-op, they're using steam (pc version obviously) for all the multiplayer and match making so it's not like they've any servers at all to worry about.

Beat it in coop twice but it was still a bad experience. Still better than singleplayer though, I've stopped playing after 15 minutes. Deffo not gonna try borderlands 2

Played up to level 10 last night and am thoroughly enjoying it. The interface and menus are much better. Coop is seemless, your friends can join into your game at any time and it increased the enemy difficulty in the same manner diablo does.

Haven't played a FPS is a while so was thinking of getting this. How does single player compare to BL 1? played that on my own and still enjoyed it more than most of the single player FPS campaigns I've played, COD and whatnot.

It's great, the story is more solid and better told. The characters you meet along the way are unique and often hilarious in their own way. I've been jumping in and out of single player & coop and it's seemless, again similiar to diablo 2/3 if you've ever played it. The missions you complete in coop are completed in your single player campaign.

Started playing this a bit and it's better than the original so far. Was playing with a mate for a bit aswell and just killed captain flynt. Like the way you can transition in and out of multiplayer easily enough! Accumulated 3 skill points with zer0 and not spent them yet so need a good look at where I want to take my character before I spend. That's on top of the initial ability of the dummy and invisibility.
