35' - Dortmund miss yet another good chance. Reus slid that across the box but Aubamayang puts it wide

The midfield is all over the place, they are carving through at will. Need another body here or we will concede again.

Just about to put that, we need a calm head.

Can is all over the place, but doing nothing.
13mins - Bournemouth have gone home. Utd kicked off anyway. Still 0-0 as Smalling passes it back to De Gea.

37' - Coutinho put one wide of the right hand post and minute later Origi hits one off his shoulder in the same place

Reus has been very very good for Dortmund tonight.

It's fairly clear that a plan has been executed to keep Coutinho out of the game.

43' - yet another shot thwarted (Lovren I think) - we are under siege

And the half ends with no further damage

HT - 2:0

If there is something we have learnt through the years of being Liverpool fans is that this is not over until the last minute. If there is a time were we need full support is now.

YNWA ringing out as the players come back onto the pitch. Flags waving - both red and yellow. Crowd is up for it.

Hopefully a good talk from Klopp leads to us pulling back the 2 goals and going on to still win this.

No subs.

Holding thumbs that the defensive clean sheet during my next stint holds  :)

45' - Dortmund kick-off and are up in our half immediately

Two footed dive from Castro looks worse than it is. FK leads to nothing

Does Milner look like he is in the game at all? The pace of the game was far too much for him in Dortmund, I was surprised to see him start tonight

Anyone would struggle with the pace tonight, these are like swarming bees...

48' - Anfield is rocking! Back up in Dortmunds box. Milner corner comes to nothing though. I also missed a Clyne effort in between in the excitement.

Dammit!

56' - Reus slices through us and scores in the corner. Hummels puts him through.

On the replay it looks as if he's looking for Origi but crossed it a bit too close to Weidenfeller.

The Kop is absolutely rocking.

71' Origi a little clumsy and fouls the midfielder.

And now Milner got fouled, put in the box, Lovren is on it, attempts a cross, gives it away and wins the possession back, wins a corner. Poor corner though from Milner, nothing new there.

74' Coutinho fouled by Hummels. Another quickly taken foul kick but the ref calls it back. Milner lays it off for Clyne, who goes for the goal from distance? Lucky corner... will it be a lucky goal? No it will be another poor one and clears, Milner has another go at it, better, pings around and cleared, another cross in, another corner won.
