League footy resumes tonight when new boys Luton Town host Middlesbrough.

Another wildly unpredictable season ahead in the Championship I feel.

Fulham are heavily fancied to bounce back and have kept hold of Mitrovic.

Wish the Championship was more accessible to watch here in the States. I understand why it's not, but I find it a highly entertaining league to follow.

That would be quite a feat given they sold their goalscorer and replaced him with David Nugent. Don't think they've done any other business?

I'd go Fulham, West Brom and Stoke.

Just having a glance over current transfers and Brentford and bristol city have spent the most so far. Both going for it whilst others can't spend as much due to years of bad business?

Yeah Bristol are tipped by quite a few to be playoff contenders at least.

Looking at the transfers, it seems very open for just about anyone to go on a run and end up in the playoffs. Can't say any team is looking promising really.

You'd expect Fulham to be up there, and Leeds (although they have lost a lot of decent players). The rest of the top 6 spots are completely open in my eyes.

Brentford have sold a couple as well I think and may yet lose Maupay as a few teams were sniffing around him.

Was out with a couple of Bristol City fans last night who weren’t particularly optimistic. They don’t have any reliable strikers that you need in the Championship and they’ve done a bit of an Everton in spending money on players they had last season on loan.

Bristol I think made a big sale and are about to sell a guy they bought last year for £3m for £24m

This is why people criticising Henderson for passing back instead of turning are WAY off base.

It's actually quite hard to turn and pass at the elite levels.

He's had loads of time on a few occasions but he takes an age to decide what to do with the ball.
