Hes not coming here lads....

We know Man City are a mirror image of the arrogant bellends who own them.

Not a chance they'd sell a player to ourselves imagining it would improve us.....(gotta laugh at how they gave us Milner, exactly the sort of player who when invested helps others and the grpupbbecome greater than the sum of its parts - pretty sure we had a Scot talk about a certain type of socialism ;) )

A lot of supporters / stakeholders of other clubs forget, theres a certain magic surrounding our club....an identity unwavered since its inception by Shanks.

Down the road, United called their stadium the theatre of dreams....an attempt to galvanise an arena. Everton bang on about being the people's club....Spurs have built an incredible vanity dome. All designed to garner a support that can help propel them forward, whilst telling anyone who will listen that Anfield is a library....and the unique atmosphere is nothing more than marketing, so why are they so hell bent on driving these initiatives forward?

Theres a reason many a player has commented on playing at Anfield - theres a reason Chelsea put plastic flags out on the seats for their fans....there is a reason United are looking at safe standing, theres a reason the bus receptions got circulated with contempt. Theres a reason we're sung about by other clubs when we're not playing them.....theres a reason we fought for justice over 30 years, theres a reason we dont sing about other clubs......and theres a reason despite a lack of  recent continued success we still have a history of attracting some of not only the most successful but also great human beings to our club.....Klopp and Benitez in the past 15 years......

We're lucky we now have custodians that share those personal qualities too...... only recently including in Klopps contract an exit condition to help and support him there after in what he might wish to do. I fucking love this club right now from top to bottom, just genuinely nice people from top to bottom all working together for each other. I feel we've got back to our roots again.....and I can imagine Mr Shankly and Paisley watching down with big smiles nodding their heads at what we are doing as a group....

The best attacking midfielder in the world - won’t be coming here but will be going somewhere if they’re really out the CL for 2 years
(well in to those claiming they wouldn’t have him by the way some good lols)

Sarcasm?  He could be the best player on the planet and I still wouldn't have him if Klopp doesn't want him.

Our back room team doesn't just go for players with skill; they go for the attitude and mentality of players who will run through brick walls for Klopp, our club and its fans.  The fact that De Bruyne is at City immediately disqualifies him as a Klopp player.

What about Milner then?

We won't be signing De Bruyne, in any case. Sadly. He's an extraordinary player.

Milner left on a free. The only reason City wanted to keep him was for their English quota. He was smart enough to realise that. If City could have found a way to stop him joining us I expect they would have, Heinz style.

I wouldn't give City the steam off my piss, much less pay them money for De Bruyne.

OK, but Milner having played for City hasn't stopped him from being the epitome of a Klopp player. Klopp wants good characters who want to work hard; if De Bruyne is that then simply playing for City wouldn't stop him being a Klopp player.

Whether we'd want to pay City for a player is a whole different discussion, one I'm not gonna have because it's pointless as we aren't signing De Bruyne anyway. :D

Yep. Say what you want about Pep, but even if he shops at Harrods, he believes in coaching- and you can be sure his players would be well-disciplined and coached. Klopp would welcome them.

Definitely. He'll be gone if the ban is upheld that's very likely. No way he will come here mind but on the player himself, what a player he is. His final ball is just ridiculous. It's the best in the game. Imagine the fucker getting ever better under Klopp.

He picks up way too many injuries already, I can't see him surviving our intensity to be honest. At the beginning of his career yes, but not now.

He's had quite a few yeah that's true. Must be due one of them injuries again soon too he's only missed a couple of games this season I think . Generally speaking though he's a bit of an alright player. It will be great if he leaves them.

Now there is a realisation by city's players of who they play for and are paying their wages....Their family, close friends forming adverse opinions, image getting tarnished, quite uncomfortable and embarrassing.

You'd like to think they would consider jumping from the pirate ship through morals and integrity.

None of them will though. Probably all get some big juicy incentive bonus through Abu Dhabi's offshore shell companies, to keep em in check.

Don't think he means that he's not a Klopp player, it's just that City would have a number of clubs to sell him to if they decided to and they'd probably want to move him out of the league.

I certainly feel that City would sell De Bruyne to another club ahead of us if they have any choice in the matter.  And he's definitely got the attributes of a Klopp player.  I just don't want a player from that club.

My point about Milner was that he chose to leave City.  I always thought City let Milner go, but several posters on here explained to me he was offered a new contract but opted to move on.  How often do players leave City when they wanted to keep them?  It's been mentioned before, but why have their big stars like Aguero, Silva et al never been linked with big continental clubs?

This lot wont be leaving City by choice.  They'd have happily stayed and banked their cheques with their plastic fans and fake success if their club hadn't been found out.  I'm not Klopp and I'm not qualified to make the decision.  If he came here of course I'd support him, but I'd have a bad taste in my mouth over it.
