You say that was with his weaker foot, I raise you with this goal being scored with his one foot.

Also from another angle inside the stadium. It's a glorious goal.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

He thought they's scored the other end. Think they were playing the goal music in the stadium so he turned around to take a drink or wipe his gloves or whatever and didn't realise the ref played on.

Still hilarious though. Love his keeper stance when the lad knocks in into the net. :D
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I thought he'd got his boots caught in the net like a cut rate Mr. Bean, but no, I have absolutely no idea what's going through the keepers head there.

Speaking of ridiculous, on the other end of the spectrum.  A third division French match with 2 spectacular goals (1:00 in and 2:30 in).  Match ended 2-2.

Fucking hell, that volley was sweet as anything, and the overhead was incredible - reminded me of Wayne Rooney's  against Man City that time.  Phenomenal.

Bumping this thread with a local one.

The Women's Copa América is currently being held here in Chile and its final stage just started today. Our Women's NT played Brazil and even though we lost, one of our players scored a screamer. Here it is, it's a twitter link but I hope you can see it with no problems: https://twitter.com/CCayuqueo94/status/986031113780056064
