Both these teams really making use of the new 5 sub rule
Arsenal will make 5 separate subs in injury time to waste time.

For a team that have won the pre season trophy Arsenal are a bit shit

They were fine in the first half, maybe they used up too much gas then.

Arsenal rode their luck most this half but should have been out of sight at HT

On the plus side, everyone now knows just to lob it over Arsenals crap defence and if you have someone who can score, you'll hammer them

Good grief :D

Horrendous quality from both teams here. I know we joke but Arsenal really don’t look any different to any other recent season, dominated for long periods in this second half by a team who have barely had a pre season.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

They looked better in the first half, I suspect they used up too much juice then and it's affected their second performance as a result. Until teams get rhythm games are not going to be that good.

Wow, just looked, they should realistically be getting 15 points from their first 5 games if they don't Spurs it up.

If we’re being honest with ourselves, the league has ended tonight :(

Not sure I agree. Could have seen a time when Arsenal succumbed to the second half pressure here and conceded. That said, I don’t think Palace are near their best yet.

Just luck though isn't it really? Eze scores his sitter and they have succumbed. Fine margins and all that.

Odd team Palace, some good players punctuated with some absolute tripe like Ayew, Mitchell, Guiata and Clyne

Surely the most important thing is to win the first game? Does the performance even matter, as  no one is going to be at their best.

I reckon they’ll be top come September 1st. Lovely run of fixtures for them.
They'll be behind us on goal difference 😉 Remember we're getting+5 at Old Trafford 🙂

Performance is irrelevant first game. Arsenal lost away to Brentford last season first game so I doubt they'll care if they had to grind one out.
