I think he just wasn't good enough. He had all the traits to be a good player he just never put it together on the pitch. He is still young enough to have a decent career somewhere but the shouts for him to be the next Sterling seem a long time ago now.

Would be amazed if he ever plays regularly in the premier league again. The championship beckons and I reckon it will be a permanent stay.

Me, neither.
I wish him all the best.

Maybe bad timing and/or poor writing but I remember hearing that LFC track by Big Zuu wherein he praised all our players, but managed to single out Ibe as a 'disappointment'.
I'm assuming it was because Ibe rhymed with a previous word, but considering that Jordon was at a pretty low point recently it was bad timing. Hope Jordon didn't hear that track!

Depression is a horrible thing and I hope that Derby (and Liverpool) are able to reach out and give him all the support he needs.

We really did Bournemouth no favours in all, Solanke, Smith, Ibe. Solanke at last scoring a few but a poor return on £40m, Wilson did OK but then we took him back. They are likely to dislike us as much as their local rivals Southampton, but it's their fault not ours.

I feel for him, i've been there and it was hell. For him its 100x magnified as he's in the public eye and his job puts him under huge pressure.

I hope he's getting the support he needs and is able to come back stronger from this. In his time here he came across as quite a quiet lad and I could be completely wrong but I think he seems like the type who needs an arm round the shoulder type of manager who will guide him.

Credit to him for speaking up about it, although its talked about a lot more nowadays its still very hard to speak about and lockdown must be making it a lot harder to cope.

I reckon Edwards can sell ice to the eskimos after flogging Jordan Ibe to Bournemouth for 16m.

We got just short of £58m for Ibe, Brewster and Solanke. Between them they have managed 7 goals in 148 PL appearances (yes, I know Jordan is a winger and is facing other challenges)

I liked all those lads and feel sorry they have not achieved what I thought they could but it does feel like Jurgen is able to bring out the best in players and that, without him, they struggle a bit.

Jordan is on Derby's books and has played 1 game this season, it's quite sad when you think back to the 'Ibeeeee' days, he could do with Jurgen near him these days and I bet he has been in contact with him. I'd love to see him back in shape and mentally improved and doing what he does best (same for Brewster as well after today as I bet he is not in a great place either carrying that price tag with no, or little, return), Solanke seems OK down on the South Coast now.

I can't see it being massive. He was on £38k a week plus bonuses at Bournemouth, then when at Derby (1 appearance) they were paying 'only' around £8k a week to him with Bournemouth subsidising the rest.

That team must have a wealthy owner though, they have a few names who've played at a good level in bigger leagues before, so they must pay well or why would Ibe consider it? It's not going to get you into the eye of decent English clubs is it?
