It's omy regular listen list with Football Weekly and the Ramble now, nice to have a good pod that focuses on our club and is interesting and enjoyable to listen to, I only started listening from ep.3 and while my initial thoughts were 'an hour? bit long that' I found it flew by and was almost disappointed it wasn't longer. Good work lads

Is it possible to get the numbers on the itunes column the other way round?

Wasn't a big issue as I realised pretty quickly, but I clicked on '4' to begin with which was in fact the first episode.

Unfortunately mate, we've no control over how iTunes lists the podcasts, but the latest one will always be top.

We use three 360 degree microphones, pleased the placement comes through on the Podcast as I thought it might be lost in compression as the .wav file is reduced from 800meg to 100meg in conversion to M4A

Ah ok cheers mate.
I wondered if you used a Compressor on the file after , not to reduce file size but to level out the troughs and peaks of the signal ?
Those 360 Mics ? Any idea of model mate ?
Sorry to be a pain, its just Im doing a degree in Sound Tech and it might come in handy one day.

No idea mate, but I'll more than happily ask next Monday for you, think our engineer said they cost about 5k each

I have a Creative Zen X-Fi and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im not too clued up on iTunes mate as I dont use it, but I'd imagine there would be a CONVERT TO MP3 option somewhere.
Otherwise you'll need a program to do it -

Try that.

Found this article to be absolutely great: http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2011/08/the-great-net-spend-rope-trick-and-more-moneyballs/

Been a bit slow on the uptake onto this, but this is "absolutely great" like you say mate. Entertaining & informative, i.e. better than 99% of the stuff in the normal press.

I'm chuffed that there is a podcast today, it wasn't expected at all. I guess with the end of the window and the Stoke game coming up there is still lots on the agenda. Muchas gracias.

Gonna save podcast 6 (next week's) for my flight on September 14th...gotta kill 7 hours in the air, so might as well listen to intelligent footy talk. Downloading episode 5 right now.
Games I've been to: 2011/2012 - Wolves (h), Man Utd (h), QPR (h), Villa (a), Wigan (a), Newcastle (h), Man City (a)
2012/2013 - Spurs (Friendly), Norwich (h)
2013/2014 - Newcastle (h)
2014/2015 - Olympiakos (friendly), Man City (friendly)
Not bad for an American eh?

Top draw yet again, only 5 weeks old but its already something I look forward to at the start of the week.

Is it going to be a permanent fixture all season?

Definitely feeling the Harry Redknapp love.

Seemed a bit more organised this week as well, although that might just be me.

Is that a good or bad thing mate?

We're all still learning as I keep saying, so the feedback is brilliant.

More organised = less people, perhaps?

Thought it would be a bad thing in my head but it actually worked out really well. I don't think it was less people although it was much easier to keep track of who was who this week (that might just be familiarity though). I think it was because the gig and the transfer window needed a specific mention. Really enjoyed the discussion that came about from mentioning the gig actually.

You considered giving out a betting tip for the week on each episode?

Fewer people, no? Remind me which degree you did again? ;D

Anyway, very good again today. I think it's developing really well. It never feels rushed, but at the same time I never feel like too long is being spent on any one topic. It moves along at a really nice pace. I like the fact that you don't discuss Liverpool in isolation either, but talk about other footballing matters.

Keep it up, it's a must-listen every Monday for me.

Something to look forward to each and every Monday throughout the season. Grab a coffee, my headphones and take a few minutes out to tally up what like minded reds think of the weekend and see how it compares to me. Cheers again lads.

Its a monday thing now ,  download The Anfield Wrap and Football Weekly and listen to them Monday night .

What's football weekly? The Mac has been at the garage for months being looked at by the whoppers at Apple, but TAW is my first podcast subscription. I still don't know how it all works, I'm just glad that all my music hasn't gone. I'm hoping I get some sort of notification from iTunes or summat.

But I'm absolutely sure that TAW fellas will be delighted that one listner..no, subscriber, pressed pause a while in to listen to Radio 5's, Monday Night Football Fun Club, with Motty and Claridgy et al, because, bath time for child happened, and he turned on radio 5 upstairs and there was Capello talking about Carroll and I was like you fucking what?! I was Mr Indignation. It's on pause till tomorrow morning... a bonus to find one this week tho.
