And I've also provided clear examples of why I believe Armstrong is nowhere near as biased as people are making out.

Selective examples of him praising players does not offset his reactions at more crucial moments though and all you did with the examples of those was try to deny they happened.

Anyway, can't you all just get along and agree he is just another shite commentator?

We'll agree to disagree on that too. I think he's (generally) fairly knowledgable, and is happy to play second fiddle to the main commentator. Despite his alleged bias, he's much better than the likes of Townsend, Burley, Owen, Lawrenson, Carlisle etc.

I find him largely harmless.

Sociedad with more possession but no penetration. Sevilla very good on transition. Still 0-0 though, first half about to end.

Fuck, what a header from Reyes, great save though.

I didn't watch that today, Armstrong is generally the most irritating commentator Sky use yet they seem to bring him out for all the big Spanish teams games.

I've been saying the same for a long time, no Rawk sheep bollocks. My friends who aren't on here also find Armstrong really annoying so it's hardly a Rawk exclusive problem.

My biggest problem with him, more so than any bias, is the fact he stubbornly refuses to change his mind. He will make up his mind on first viewing and refuse to change it despite being proved miles off. He'd call someone a diver yet on seeing the replay and the blatant contact he will stick to calling the player a diver.

They created good chances, just could not find the net. Reyes himself had two good shots.

Diego Costa is one of the few players who shows similar aggression and intensity in his play to Suarez. However, technically Suarez is on another level. But yeah as i love watching Suarez play i do also like watching the way Diego Costa plays.

If Arbeloa never played for us i think he'd be a player i hate. His fouling is so blatant its a joke. I notices it for us butt watching him for Spain and Madrid, its so annoying.

Barca aren't as good as they used to be.  Neymar does not look like the next Ronaldinho to me - right now, he looks way over-rated.  Messi, although he scored a great free kick, still does not look back to his best.  Might be saving himself for the world cup.

Barcelona will probably be back to where they were in a couple years, bedding in Neymar, Deulofeu, Sergi Roberto etc... Messi like Suarez I suspect isn't playing 1000000% as he can because of the WC, he had a couple of quotes talking about that a couple of months ago, like Suarez is afraid of getting injured.

I'm sorry but Tello is the Spanish Stewart Downing. Don't understand what type of player he is? Xxavi explain?

I think he'd be good in England for a club like Everton. Really pacy, he needs space to run to. Also Tello is a decent finisher, has a good shot.

But when it comes to footballing basics that are required to play at Barca, he doesn't have them. Deluefeu is not too dissimilar really, though a better raw talent. Passing, decision making etc. can be frustrating for both of these. Cuenca has been ruined by injuries, I think he had much better chance of making at Barca than Tello despite having worse stats (stats fans would love Tello though).

All in all, Barca should have sold Tello when so many teams were showing interest. There is no point keeping a youngster and giving 5-10 minutes every now and then. Utterly pointless when you have Pedro, Neymar and Alexis + Rafinha and Deluefeu coming up.

Messi looks like he's playing on about 75 per cent at the moment - and still he's keeping a ridiculous goalscoring ratio. Eight in his last six games now?

I honestly don't think they will be.  All of those players will be good players, especially Neymar.  But they won't be great attacking players like Iniesta, Xavi and Messi.  Neymar might become world class but he doesn't look it right now.

I agree about Tello - sorry, but he is really average and that's being kind.  Not good enough at all.  When you look at Madrid and the team they have, at the moment, all of the exciting young players are there.  With the new guy coming through their youth system - Jesse and having bought Isco, I'd say that the balance of power in Spain has swung back their way.  Barca will need to go out and buy new CBs and another superstar if they are to compete IMHO.
