No new watch since 2014 though, he lost that excuse since he accepted the Newcastle job. In many ways, it cemented the perception that his time at the top tier of football was over.

The only good project that he signed up for since leaving Liverpool was Napoli and he left that prematurely for whatever reason. I'd argue given how Moshi la has been willing to throw around the cash that Everton would be a slight step-up.
