Decent Pub near airport
« on: March 18, 2018, 02:40:48 pm »
Hi all,

Any decent boozers within a few minutes bus journey/taxi of the airport? Would usually drink round Hardman Street in the likes of the Phil or The Fly in the Loaf.

Just want a good location for a few good quality pints, no interest in music etc.

Cheers lads.  :wave

Depends what you mean by a few minutes really. Good selection of pubs round lark lane, aigburth, allerton. Short bus ride away. There’s not a great deal round the airport in fairness

The Derby Arms on Menlove Avenue or The Elephant in Woolton are decent for beer and food - Just over 10 minutes by cab
In Hale (5 minutes) you've got The Childe of Hale and The Wellington and My dad reckons the best value for food and ale is in The Bear and Staff (24-26 Gateacre Brow L25 3PB) and when he went last Sammy Lee was in :D

On Hale road - big gaff on the right hand side (not the black and white ones) - before that.
