Don't generally get tickets for the Kop.

What section (s) usually start the songs going?

None I'm afraid, unless we have scored a goal... then everyone sings for around 5-10 minutes

Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

Better off in U1 or U9 if you want to sing.   If you do go in The Kop try and get as near to 304, 305 and 306.  At least then you will be able to fine tune Every other Saturday with a rendition every 10 minutes.

Alternatively you could be an innovator and try 104, 105 and 106, the challenge would be to start a song and get someone to join in.  Expect a slagging off for disturbing the tranquility of those around you.
