If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

How shit do you have to be to be losing 3-0 to Brighton.
it will probably end up as Brighton's biggest win in PL this year too.

Bye bye Bilic.

It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

They probably were. Arnautovic has unsurprisingly looked like a poor buy at £25m with no resale value. And as for Hart. I could see him playing in the MLS next season. There was a reason West Ham didn't buy him outright. Who will want him?

So much for the move transforming West Ham from one type of club into another.  They’re still the club that suffers a nightmare relegation every five or six years, only now they’re doing it in a shit stadium.

would he go back there? I can't remember what the exact circumstance that saw him leave - football style though I think? Right now they can throw the style out the window, they need someone to organise them, they are all over the place. So yeah, I could see him doing that.

Forget what's gone before, conceding 2 goals to Glenn Murray should be a sackable offence in itself. He's one of the worst footballers to ever play Premier League football.

I dread to think what would become of them if they were relegated, especially with a squad of expensive, ageing journeymen.

I know.  I was horrified seeing the place when we were there in May.  Not even so much the stadium itself, but more what the experience of going to the game - seeing them standing outside Westfields with their M&S sandwiches before walking across basically wasteland for half-a-mile to get there.  Compared to Upton Park the feel of it is appalling.  Hats off to them if they don’t jack it in en masse if it ends up being for games against Burton and Rotherham.

Anyone versus Hodgson, gets my vote (except Maureen I guess). I expect that Rafa will be a bit baffled by what tactics Roy is employing, much like his Palace players. An easy 3-0 win for the barcodes.
I'm looking forward to Watford who are playing some nice stuff, putting the screws to the Rent Boys, but at one point Hazard has to start to play, hopefully not tomorrow.
Do you dare suggest Rafa will have trouble translating Hodgson’s tactics? I hope the Toon batter them.

If they get relegated, they could walk away from the stadium (is it 5m a year they pay?) so it wouldn’t be their white elephant. Mind you the taxpayer seems to picking up most of the cost as it is.
Would they ground share?

Edit. They have a 99 year lease at £2.5m a year according to the Telegraph
They won’t exactly be financially burdened by that.

I mean it'll be absolutely useless. They'd struggle to fill even half of it in the Championship.

Ethan Ampadu is on the bench for Chelsea, he only turned 17 in September. Their squad is bad this year.

Agreed mate. Hence I feel they would look at walking away.
The whole stadium deal stunk/stinks.

I think they’re traditionally one of the clubs who draw decent crowds when they go down (ie 30k-ish), but that’ll feel totally different at the new ground.  You wouldn’t be surprised if it dwindled massively from there.  What an act of vandalism, I feel really bad for them.

No Moses, Willian or Zappacosta in their first XI...it might potentially be the end of 343, it remains to be seen.

Yep Boleyn Ground was always rocking when they played well & on a run, & few away teams fancied playing there, even if they decide to leave the new stadium where would they go, as the Boleyn has been demolished?
