Halfway update:

Chirivella at Willem II - 17 starts for them so far and is firmly in their strongest 11, currently injured with a cruciate ligament strain. They're currently 14th in the table, 5 points off bottom (18th).

Randall at Hearts - 15 starts and 2 assists so far, seems to start and complete the full 90 when available but has missed a few games through injury and suspension. He has over the past couple of months returned to the more familiar role of right back, having originally being used in midfield for them. Hearts are sat in 5th in the SPL.

Awoniyi at Royal Mouscron - 5 goals and 4 assists in 21 games, seems to start every game for them. They're 8th in the Belgian league.

George at Carlisle - Made 7 appearances in total, conceding 8 and keeping 2 clean sheets (and also getting an assist!). I believe this deal expired on Jan 1st so I assume he's back with us now?

Ojo at Fulham - 4 goals and 2 assists in 17 games. Always involved when available but missed a chunk of games due to injury. Fulham currently in 10th and recovering from a bad start of the season trying to close in on the play off spots.

Lennon at Real Salt Lake - Recently made this move permanent on a free transfer.

Origi at Wolfsburg - 4 goals and 1 assist in 18 games, although about half of those games have come on the right wing. Wolfsburg have just sold Mario Gomez to Stuttgart so once the Bundesliga is back underway after the winter break you'd imagine Origi will be their #1 striker.

Allan at Apollon - 14 games so far, including 4 starts in the Europa League were he played a part in knocking Everton out. Apollon are currently 3rd in their league, although just 1 point from top and are unbeaten in the league this season (11 wins, 6 draws).

Kent at Freiburg - He made 6 appearances for them, starting just once. We cut the loan deal short and it seems like he'll be heading to the Championship for the rest of the season, with Bristol City interested.

Williams at Rochdale - Made 14 starts picking up 2 assists. Loan deal expired on Jan 1st. He leaves Rochdale in 23rd in League 1.

Keita at RBL - I think we've all kept up with this one!

New loans this month, will update OP:

Corey Whelan to Yeovil
- They are 21st in League 2. Made his debut as an 85th minute sub in the FA Cup vs Bradford before playing the full 90 in the next game at right back in the EFL Cup.

Matthew Virtue to Notts County - They're 2nd in league 2, 4 points off top. Managed by player-manager Kevin Nolan and have Shola Ameobi and Jon Stead upfront!

Awesome. Thanks for the update. Seems Wolfsburg seem to rate Origi as they let their best striker go right?

Awesome. Thanks for the update. Seems Wolfsburg seem to rate Origi as they let their best striker go right?

I don't think it was so much a case of letting him go cos of Origi, cos of course, he is only on loan. With Mario Gomez, it was a chance for him to go finish his career at home with Stuttgart where it all began for him. He'd 32 now, he wasn't having a great season anyway, although he had a really good season last year, so he's likely got something left in the tank!.

Wolfsburg need to get another forward in the summer regardless,  after Divock, they just have a couple really young strikers. Origi at the grand old age of 22 is their most senior striker.

Kent has gone straight back out on loan to Bristol City in the Championship. They're sat in 4th at the moment, 2 points off the automatic promotion spots, and still in with a shout of the League Cup final after losing by just the 1 goal at the Etihad. They're home to Norwich tomorrow before the double header of a promotion clash with Derby and the 2nd leg of the League Cup semi final next week (both those games are on Sky).

Thanks!

How has Keita been doing? I haven't been following his situation as in my head he's still not a Liverpool player. But it looks like we may be getting him early so I have an interest now.

A few teams still on breaks so a few of the lads not in action this weekend, but those that were:

Sheyi Ojo - Started and played 52 minutes of Fulham's 1-0 away win over Pulis' Boro. Fulham now leapfrog them in the table and go 1 point off the play offs.
Divock Origi - Played the full 90 upfront in Wolfsburg's 0-0 draw away at Dortmund.
Allan - Started in a 1-1 draw with 3rd place Anorthosis. Apollon are currently 4th, 3 points off the top with 2 games in hand. And still unbeaten!
Naby Keita - Played 67 minutes and scored as RBL beat Schalke 3-1. RBL up to 2nd now, although 13 points behind Bayern.
Corey Whelan - Made his debut as an injury time sub for Yeovil in their 1-1 draw with Port Vale.
Matthew Virtue - Played 60 minutes in CM in Notts County's 2-2 draw away at fellow promotion chasing Lincoln. They're now 3 points behind leaders Luton.
Ryan Kent - Very disappointing result for Bristol City as they lost 1-0 at home to Norwich. Kent was subbed on in the 69th minute. They're live on Sky this coming Friday vs Derby.

Seems like Allan and Virtue are going to play big parts in potential title winning seasons, great experience for them. Allan with the added bonus of potentially having an invincible season. I couldn't find stats anywhere to see if that had ever been done before in the Cypriot league, but Apollon haven't won the title in 12 years.

Grujic has gone to Cardiff. They don't seem to have that many options in CM and have had to use right backs Peltier and Paterson there in recent games, so you'd imagine Grujic will play a lot. They're 3rd in the table and have Man City in the FA Cup 4th round, which he'll be available to play in as he didn't play for us against Everton.

Made a couple of good moves, skinned Bernardo Silva and another player on two separate occasions but his pass was wayward after each move. Put a nice cross in late on that got headed down and into the path Flint to make it 2-2. Encouraging cameo all in all

He had more of the ball but did some awful things with it. Not really the greatest game for him to shine in though and Cardiff looked like they didn’t really care anyway.
