Think he's well on course to beat Torres but unlikely to catch Fowler or Suarez. Like you say, a lot will depend both on him staying injury free and on how far we progress in the FA Cup and Champions League.
that table would be different if we comapred first seasons of all these players for us.

what about consistency in scoring per match? Suarez got like 4 Hat-Tricks in the premier league that season (one game with 4 goals I think) that is ten goals in 3 games. Mo has scoring a goal or so every game it seems. doesn't really score a huge amount in one match. fucking impressive really.

Salah - 30 goals [8 assists]
Firmino - 21 goals [12 assists]
Mane - 12 goals [6 assists]
Can - 5 goals [3 assists]
Chamberlain - 4 goals [4 assists]
TAA - 3 goals [1 assist]

Honorable mention to Milner, he has scored only one goal, but has 8 assists, 6 of which have come in the CL

Milner definitely deserves a shout out - he's the top assist provider in the CL this season.

Yeah Sturridge actually scored in more games than Suarez that season if I'm not wrong, despite getting 10 goals less overall in the league.

Both types of scoring rate are important in different ways (Suarez would completely take a game away from a team single handedly, whilst Sturridge/Salah provide a fairly solid base for the team to build on with a single goal in most games).

Are there many CMs in the league in double figures? Or any?

Coutinho was on 12 if you include him as one of our midfielders.

It would be nice if one could end the season in double figures, but given how well our front 3 (4 if you include Coutinho up until he left) are scoring then I'm not sure it is that likely we'd have a centre mid on double figures at this stage of the season.

Double digits for central midfielders is highly unlikely. Lallana scored 8 last year but he has been injured all year

But Wijnaldum has scored only 1 and he had 5 last year. So he has a chance to improve and if Lallana can stay healthy. perhaps he can contribute

Most of those play extremely advanced.

Our player who played so advanced was Coutinho, who had 12 for us. If we’d had another player there all season up to now then it’s likely they’d be on to get double figures for the season.

Perhaps, but...

Dele Alii - Has got 10-or-more 2x in 3 PL seasons
Eriksen - 1 in 5
De Bruyne - 0 in 3
Lallana - 0 in 6.
Ox - 0 in 7
Ozil - 0 in 5
Ramsey - 1 in 10.

Whilst I don't disagree in principle that these players could be getting 10, they've collectively done it 4 times in 39 seasons. It ain't easy. Equally, the top three should be doing it in the next few years, the others perhaps not.

UPDATE:

Looking at league goals only in the 38 game era, our top scorers are;

31 Suarez (13/14) (Joint all time PL record for all clubs)
28 Fowler (95/96)
24 Torres (07/08)
23 Salah (17/18)
23 Suarez (12/13)
21 Sturridge (13/14)
19 Owen (01/02)
19 Owen (02/03)
18 Fowler (96/97)
18 Owen (97/98)
18 Owen (98/99)
18 Torres (09/10)

10 more potential league matches for Salah this season.
8 more league goals needed to match Suarez 13/14.

He's going to do it isn't he.

For correctness, Salah should be listed below Suarez 23, since Suarez did it first.

Not that it matters though, because if Salah stays injury free, he's on course of surpassing the top mark.

The tweet I saw with that on was completely wrong in terms of how many goals our three have scored.

We can say they've collectively scored more league goals than any PL team outside the big six. Only seven fewer than Chelsea, as it stands.

This escalated quickly:

Looking at league goals only in the 38 game era, our top scorers are;

31 Suarez (13/14) (Joint all time PL record for all clubs)
28 Salah (17/18)
28 Fowler (95/96)

18 Owen (98/99)
18 Torres (09/10)

7 more potential league matches for Salah this season.
3 more league goals needed to match Suarez 13/14.

May as well look at all years and all comps now that Salah's in with a realistic (if outside) chance of topping this too;

47 - Rush
42 - Hunt
36 - Salah
36 - Fowler
36 - Hodgson
33 - Evans
33 - Torres

This is getting ridiculous now.

Roberto Firmino (3 assists) and Mo Salah (4 assists) have combined for more goals than any other duo in the Premier League this season.

Mohamed Salah (46) & Roberto Firmino (35): Liverpool are the only Premier League side to have two players directly involved in 35+ goals across all competitions this season.
