De Bruyne makes it look so fucking easy. What a player.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

His weight of pass is invariably perfect. Sane never had to break stride for the 3rd goal.

A lot was made of that Bernardo Silva "dive" earlier today, but his foot was clearly trapped underneath the goalkeepers knee.

Agree.

The pundits are making a deal of how it's "theatrical" but the problem is, if a player doesn't exaggerate, the ref doesn't give anything.

I think he's retiring at the end of the season. That time can't come soon enough.

Wishful thinking. The bell keeps making every game about his last time at a certain. Conspired with an old City player mate of his on football focus today to chat shit about how Motson is a fixture/icon. He's been shit at his job for at least fifteen years. He needs to stop being indulged

Motson always seems to be behind the play. Something will happen, and then 2 seconds later we'll hear Motson go "OHH!"

Before we rush to judge, he may have issues with his dad/family.

I got bored and decided to have a google.
Earlier in the season he told a journalist "It was a personal choice. Nothing had to be explained to you or others."
Also appears that his parents are divorced (apparently his step-dad was made a scout at Liverpool, don't know if he still is).
So you could well be right.

Not sure why anyone would care what a player has on his shirt  ???
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

See Shelvey give Cabaye a sly dig when that corner came in for the goal?

Goal of the season contender from Boufal.

Was great that. Something of the Ben Arfa about him.

Probably a daft decision trying to skin and run the wrong direction into two WBA players where he started, which almost cost him possession, but from there on everything went right (to say the least)

Probably don't need to waste any of your hope on that, though there are some dire teams seemingly lining up to go down (including them, Palace, Bournemouth and maybe Swansea or Everton - if one/two of their few decent players get an injury)

Pretty sure he signed a new long term deal recently, they don't tend to let their players out on loan unless they commit to one.

How come Jesus got away with that dangerous high foot in the last few minutes of the city game? Not even a mention nor a card, too often these inconsistent referees (and pundits) only see what's on their agenda.

Man City's average possession must be close to 70% so far this season. They're in the high 70s every time I look at the stats.

Only 10 games in. Maybe some of these pundits might want to cool it a bit before they declare City the greatest side ever.

Not that they're not decent, but they've started well before.

They've got the title won already. Even if you discount the results their performances are on a different level to anything other sides are producing. They've totally dominated every game, even in the Champions League.
