Spoiler
Shes still off her head though, "I can see dead people "
Love the series but if Tommy knew they planned to hit him and that was his trap then why wasn't everyone else ready to blast them as soon as they got out of the cars in the block of flats, it would have actually made a great final episode.

Spoiler
perhaps he didn't want anyone else involved, he didn't want to risk losing anyone close to him? Also interesting development towards the end of the episode with the whole communist revolution

Still laughing about this.

Loving Adrien Brody in this series. Proper actor, and probably one of my favourites. Looking forward to tonight.

Season 4 is released on Netflix over here tomorrow, been re-watching all three seasons in anticipation.

One of many favorite moments:

Season 3 Episode 1, when Tommy has all the boys in the kitchen, screaming at them about how to behave at the wedding.

Going round one by one, shaking his finger and yelling "no fighting."

Comes to Arthur, who has a mouthful of food and merely raises both hands in innocent reply and acknowledgement... ;D

Since haste quite Schorsch, but Liverpool are genuine fight pigs...

The scene were Tom Hardy is winding up Arthur on becoming religious takes some beating.
right in his face telling him "Hows does that work considering your line of work mate.oh come on mate. it's fanciful innit mate." on and on winding him up. Arthur trembling with rage clutching a glass. superb. :)

I assumed she just meant the PTSD from the war. He only seems to have episodes when he is calm and relaxed. So needs constant battle to keep him occupied and it at bay. He looked miserable when Albert was making a toast to "peace".

Just what I assumed tho, could be wrong.

Yes, I was thinking that. Polly mentioned the drink and he went along with it just to shut her up so it wasn't the drink, probably been living off Adrenalin while the vendettas being going on. he may have had a breakdown when peace came.

Have absolutely no clue what going on in Season three. Literally haven't a breeze. Im up to episode 4. Someone help me understand what's going on, plot wise, because its the weakest season for me so far and going off on a mad tangent to whats gone before.

Brilliant.

Spoiler
When Arthur was lying prone and Tommy wasn't trying to resuscitate him I was saying 'Oh ffs he's still bloody warm, you're army trained (etc) at least try and save your brother, this is really poor...'

So was thrilled with how the story materialised.

You may want to put some spoiler tags mate

Spoiler
The priest is connected to the IRA, remember the issue back in series 1 and 2, when Tom had the stolen guns, and the members of the IRA approached him and tried to get him to give it to them? One of them he killed and so the priest working for the IRA is there to use Tom to get him to do whatever they need him to do. That's the basic gist of it

Couldn't disagree more with this, really. I thought this season was great. Probably not quite up there with the first (which was the pinnacle), but great television none-the-less, and probably the best around right now.

Can't wait for season five.

I was disappointed with the last series ending, but I thought this was much better. I watched five episodes on the bounce and really enjoyed it. So glad Arthur wasn't dead, great to see him at the end. Stinks we have to wait until 2019 for that and GOT though.  :(

The PFB have firmly fixed quite a few pair of eyes in their time.

Only came into this at the start of Series 4 and what a treat I've missed.

On the plus side I'm now watching the first 3 series and enjoying every minute.

Such a great script, excellent actors in every scene and so many have their characters examined for us.

The soundtrack bites seemed to get better with every series as well.

I loved Boardwalk Empire but this tops it for me. Roll on the next series and some new opponents out to get them.

the BBC have started an obsessed with Peaky Blinders podcast. That structure of show suggests that the new series is about to drop, in the next few weeks or so, based on the Line of Duty one.

edit, just had a listen and it's decent, as the main writer is the guest.
