all i'm saying is if downing can get a run in the first team after sulking to the press about his lack of chances..

Would be nice but i don't think its something likely to happen. Not the perfect player by any means but certainly deserves better than he's had in his time here. I actually rate him, think he shows some very nice link up play with his teammates.

Commentators tonight said a few times Anderlecht are apparently interested though so wouldn't be suprised if he's off. Good luck to him if he does go, feel a bit sorry for the lad

Would have liked to see him get more chances in the first half of last season, think we should have used him a lot more. With the additions of Sturridge and Coutinho and now Aspas and Luis Alberto, it's going to be very difficult for him to get games, particularly with no Europe. Been unlucky but I think we've upgraded in his position since January so it's difficult to see him staying.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

He's the sort of backup i want here. Brought in cheap, very skillful with a lot of quality, links with other technical players well, has pace and can make things happen. I just want him to be actually used as back up as opposed to not used at all. Every time he has come on he has impressed me with one aspect of his play or another.

Looks like he's bulked a little. Hopefully that means he gets some more minutes this season, because that's the only flaw I could see during his limited appearances last season

Cant understand why he doesnt play more.

Other than his air-kick though, he was quite good, and especially good at the quick give-and-go in the box with Gerrard and Coutinho.

He used to be a cocky bastard but all that has been well and truly taken out of him during his time with us, btw.

Without a doubt Ibe has been more impressive, esp. given how young he is.

And yes, in the end, it is Rodgers' judgment that matters, not ours.

Been a bit of a mystery signing from start to finish, hasn't it? It was like he showed up one day and no-one knew he was coming. Rodgers hasn't really wanted to know about him since he got here.

What makes it even more strange is that on the few games where he's been given a chance, he's actually looked a good player, can torment a full-back and has a bag of tricks albeit with limited end product.

Strange one.

Strange signing. Looks good in his limited appearances but there must be something going on that is preventing him getting more minutes in real matches, maybe he's a bad trainer or something and that costs him a spot in the first XI?

Off to QPR on loan

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfers-oussama-assaidi-joining-2136708#.UgLBa5L3DKs.twitter

QPR have Shaun Wright-Phillips and Junior Hoilett in their squad as well as a fair few others like Park, Jenas and Barton who could do a job as wide midfielders.

If he did end up going there I'm not sure he would be guaranteed a first 11 spot.

He's good when he gets the ball but the problem is his positioning is fucking terrible and I've noticed a few times he forgets he's playing and starts to just watch the game.

The little flick to set up Sterling - if Ibe would've done that we'd be tossing ourselves silly over it. He's a good player and it's very very strange the way Rodgers won't play him.

At the risk of being wooooshed, I'll answer.

They both played 2nd half. Oussama on the left and Raheem on the right.
