Hasn't it. The twist at the end of the last episode was so good and unexpected. Back to its best; series 2 was a bit of a let down for me.

Anyone seen a good quality torrent for episode 10 with English subs? I shouldn't be so impatient but it's so good! Was worried it would go downhill after what happened at the end of season 2.

I downloaded one but haven't checked it yet, if it is kosher I'll let you know.

Best show on TV for me.

For me this series puts into context the piss poor quality of recent British attempts to copy it ....and failing miserably. I'm thinking in particular of Broadchurch and the one set in Belfast with Jamie Dornan, was it The Fall ? But there are many more.

I think this Bridge series is compelling viewing.

Downloaded all Six episodes from Catch up over the weekend and watched them all as I realised this is a quality series.

The plot zips around to keep you on your feet but the two lead characters are like no other detectives ever.

Brilliant acting by both. Saga with her difficulties in social interaction which made me laugh at times and her male Danish counterpart Henrik, who has addictions and mental problems which were not apparent at first sight.

Their characters are just as intriguing a thread as who is the killer and for what motive.

Totally addicted and will chase down The Bridge series 1 which has been mentioned as superior to 2.

Was Saga in both previous series? I assume Henrik was not?

We are definitely believers and we’ve won the fucking lot!

Henrik is new for this series, doing a pretty good job of filling the void left by Martin's departure.

Saga has been present since the start.

I think all three series are class, the first probably is better than the second but both essential viewing in my book.

Just caught up with the two episodes from BBC4 last Saturday. It's been exceptional so far, there was a scene in a lift with Henrik, which was a repeated scenario with Martin, and I realised Henrik is far more interesting. And then I saw the end of episode six and nearly fell off the sofa, he's more complex than Saga.

So is that it? Where as I wasn't that arsed about a season three, I'm well up for a season four now. Would have to be something completely different than the last three (the creative sociopath murder rampage with multiple suspect format has been done to death)...

Spoiler
But surely there's enough to work with with the new relationship and their ongoing quest regarding his kids. Although I heard there might not be another season so who knows..

I was waiting for Martin to show up in some episode but it's true the new detective stole the show. Very good performance. Good plot and a nice trick to keep you guessing and managed to focus really well on the key characters.

Saga's performance and character is fascinating.
Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.

I dare not delve to much into this thread in case of spoilers. But I've just watched episode 8 of Season 1 in my dinner hour.  Will see the season through to it's conclusion tonight

It's simply one of the best crime dramas I've ever watched.  Yet again thanks to Dave for the recommendation.

Aside from the plot and the cat & mouse chase of the killer, the two lead characters on-screen dynamic is just superb. Some seriously laugh out loud moments between the two as Martin cannot quite believe some of Saga's reactions to certain situations.

Saga Noren is one of the most intriguing TV characters I've ever come across. So well written and acted!.  Love it how all the other detectives just know Saga is the oddest person in the world but still tolerate her and respect her professionally.

The bit where her boss (Hans) ordered her to tell Martin she didn't have sex with his son was classic.  The way she announced it in front of the WHOLE task-force was funny in itself but the total look of resignation on Hans face was priceless :)

So happy there are 2 more seasons of this to enjoy when i finish this first one.

Just watched series 2 episode 1 during my dinner hour.

Had a month break to fully digest the brilliant first series and its great to have Martin and Saga back on my screen. :)

Saga Noren is one of my favorite crime series characters ever. She is simply nuts. A seriously brilliant character. Her brutal honesty is so funny and altogether charming.  I know there is suggestions she has Aspergers, which is no laughing matter, but you cant help but smile at some of Saga's reactions to situations.

The massive smile that froms across Martins face when he sees Saga for the first time since the end of Series 1 was such a beautiful moment.

Just finished Season 2 today and looking back through the thread it seems to have mixed reviews.

Personally, I thought the Season 2 finale was fucking mind blowingly good.  I enjoyed the whole season just as much if not more that season 1.

Spoiler
The scene with the infected Pernille locked in the Bathroom with Viktoria Nordgren, while Martin and Saga had to sit outside helpless, was so tense. I was expecting a scientist to come running in with a vaccine or Antidote any second to save Pernille, but alas it never happened.

Saga grassing Martin for killing Jens was heartbreaking and obviously spells the end for Martin who I knew prior wasn't in Season 3.  I did wonder what the reasoning for Martin not being in season 3 was, now I know.

Just started season 3 yesterday and the first episode had some Classic Saga

She called Hans at 07:37 and left a voicemail demanding why he didnt answer his phone as he had clearly previously stated he would be available from 7am

John the tech guy being asked by Saga very late at night why he needed to go home to sleep as his wife had divorced him and he doesnt see the kids until the weekend.

It's her dead sisters car.

Jennifer was 14 when she committed suicide, so I don't think it was her car.

I just binned all three series of this. Amazing stuff. The only problem I had was that I had already watched the first series of the 'Murican version of this, so the first season of the original wasn't surprising to me, which is a damned shame. It was still brilliant. I thought the crimes in the first two series were much better, whereas the third was otherwise just as sound. Henrik made a fine addition, but I missed Martin like crazy - whenever he and Saga ventured into emotional territory in the first two series, I found it really very touching and compelling.

If anyone was wondering, when Saga goes "Aww" to say "Yes," that is a quintessentially Swedish thing to do, and not a quirk of her character. I left Sweden in 2003 after three years there, and I still catch myself doing it all the time - it is very addicting.
