The ratings are boss.  Can't wait to listen to the Pink on me drive home.

Very good last night. ;D
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

The Pink..... is awesome....

The Asda, a chicken sandwich and half a bottle of wine...  absolutely epic stuff...

And as for Neil’s match review (if that’s the right term for it).  Just sensational.

Was grinning from ear to ear listening to that on my way in this morning. :D

Neil's closing monologues are epic. I want one for every European game this season!

Up their with the Dortmund Pink, hard to pick one.
Nothing will beat that for me. Had me in tears when I started it and Neil's just singing Nicki Minaj  ;D

Out of context it's hard to imagine how either relate to a football podcast :lmao

It is a brilliant Pink, Mike's story mixed with Adam's on the opposite end of the scale. A Classic. I've listened twice already and burst my arse laughing. Fantastic.

I listened to this last week. Was hilarious the story about the Evertonian, who complained about an article one of the hosts wrote about encouraging Liverpool fans calling in sick for the game.

He complained that he had an extra workload because of it.

His response 'Yes, Evertonians should do our work while we celebrate winning Champions League Quarter Finals'

:lmao

He was in the city end. Celebrated Salahs goal and got kicked out.

Went to the Asda bought himself a sandwich and a bottle of wine then went back to the ground and celebrated with all the other reds who'd been kicked out

If you're on Android mate I'd go through the Podcast Addict app. Tried the rest and this was a clear winner.

Do they change studios every week? I'd actually be really interested - possible off-season content - in a 'documentary' show about how TAW is produced, what the setup is, how it's grown and changed since the start. I always used to enjoy Neil's descriptions of the weather over Birkenhead from the top of the tower shows.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

Would be interesting to hear whether Nevin has altered his viewpoint on Klopp. As far as I could tell Nevin was uncomfortable with the idolising of Klopp from sections of the fanbase. While this wasn't an entirely unreasonable position, I felt that Nevin overcompensated for this by going the other way, to some extent. I also thought his comments about Klopp's squad management and transfer approach were overtly critical. Wonder if he's softened on Klopp and the bandwagon that follows him...?

That said, Nevin made an odd comment on the Man City Pink last week in how Milner has 'shown up the manager' with his excellent form. It was dropped in amongst a lot of light-hearted revelry but it felt like another barb when there wasn't really a need for it.
