Would be interesting to hear whether Nevin has altered his viewpoint on Klopp. As far as I could tell Nevin was uncomfortable with the idolising of Klopp from sections of the fanbase. While this wasn't an entirely unreasonable position, I felt that Nevin overcompensated for this by going the other way, to some extent. I also thought his comments about Klopp's squad management and transfer approach were overtly critical. Wonder if he's softened on Klopp and the bandwagon that follows him...?
That said, Nevin made an odd comment on the Man City Pink last week in how Milner has 'shown up the manager' with his excellent form. It was dropped in amongst a lot of light-hearted revelry but it felt like another barb when there wasn't really a need for it.
