Question. Can anyone tell me what post Barry is replying to?

Someone started a thread (since deleted) on how much they'd get selling a washing machine.

Did you send them a PM asking if it needs moving?

Where is the best place in Liverpool or surrounding area to get things like safety boots and work pants in small sizes? By small sizes I mean petite woman or junior small. I’ve got limited time so don’t want to take a punt with online orders, I would prefer to try stuff on to make certain it fits. I’ve been pointed in the direction of the likes of Screwfix and Toolstation already but is there anywhere else I could visit?

Arco in Warrington are ok, Industrial Clothing in George St, St Helens are decent. Used both in the past

Anyone here good with phone/computer stuff? Basically my phone is really old, like IPhone 4 or something I think? I dunno but its a good few years old and not up to anywhere of the new standard of smartphones.

Anyway a couple of weeks ago I was at a family wedding and recorded the speeches on my phone just in case nobody else did. Lo and behold nobody else did, and while the quality isn't great it is still audible and clear and obviously something people want to watch as they were fantastic. Now I can't send the video (its 17 minutes long) by Imessage or via email because the file is too long. The phone is too old to support the latest version of WhatsApp so I cant send on there. I am trying to upload it to the computer to send by email that way perhaps but I cannot find a way to upload it, only my music files are showing up on iTunes when I connect the USB to the phone. I obviously don't want to do anything stupid and delete the video as it is the only video of the speeches so I'm treading carefully here.

Long story short, is there a way to get this video to send to someone via the phone, and/or am I being stupid in not knowing how to upload it to my laptop to then forward on that way? I'm fucking clueless with this stuff.

Install Dropbox/OneDrive/Google Drive on the phone? You can then sync it back to your PC, or share it directly from Dropbox/OneDrive/Google Drive.

The phone needs to be updated to IOS 9 to support those apps. This phone wont update anything above 7.1 or something  ;D

Have you tried connecting it to a Windows PC with a USB cable and just looking in Windows Explorer?

You could use something like WeTransfer.com directly from the phone. Just open the page in the browser and upload the files. Bonus is that you can email the link to the other guests without reuploading.

Maybe not the best place to ask this but ill ask anyway.

I've recently separated from my wife, i have received a letter from her solicitor regarding a matrimonial agreement. Basically, cutting a long story very short, the house we lived in was in her name only with no mortgage. I have since bought an apartment in my name only with a mortgage and also am named on the deeds of my parents house. I lived in that house with her for 13 years, I dont want any equity etc etc from this house. What i am potentially worried about is that she will have transferred the deeds to her parents name, therefore not owning anything and coming after my equity in the apartment and my parents house.

I have spoken to a solicitor but i didnt think to ask this question and they did not cover it. They just explained to me how a matrimonial agreement works and the process of it.

Anyone able to shed any light on whether she could have went down this route and where that would leave me?

Think it'll be something to do with rock when building. The older tunnel bends probably on that basis, clay would have been easier to get through. Could be wrong.

Do you have proof that you lived in her house and made a contribution to the house when there?  ie council tax, utility bills etc?

When did you come to be on the deeds of parents house? Was it left to you in a will for example? The crux on this is your relationship with ex-mrs when you got parents house.

Which house did u live in for 13 years? Her house with no mortgage or your parents house, its not clear.
When did she transfer the deeds?

Im currently going through a divorce, quite amicable at the moment, however I may have asked my solicitors similar questions.  PM me if u want mate.

You shouldn't have to. As long as your ESTA is valid you can visit different places.

Yup. If it's still valid, just crack on. Obviously make sure you write that address on your immigration card though, just for avoidance of hassle.

I know it's a bit of a daunting place to think about visiting at the moment, but having been myself since Trump's Circus came to town, it didn't feel any different from when I went in the Bush Era and the Obama era (that being said, I'm a caucasian male with no criminal record, so I'm least likely to face any hassle I guess).
Thanks. Wouldn't i need to update my new location of stay in the states? My mrs has to put her home address as our new place so i will need to amend mine really.

No, you don't need to amend the ESTA, just put the address of the place you are staying on the first night of your arrival on the Immigration Landing card you get on the plane.

Bit of a weird one this but it's kinda freaked me out a bit so need help on whether to forget it or investigate further.

So at work today our receptionist came to me asking was my old name Ashcroft as someone was asking to speak to me on the phone.  There was nobody on the line when I took it but they phoned back virtually straight away.

This guy full of himself started going on about a meeting I'd had with his colleague on 25th October about reducing my business rates on my commercial property.  When I replied I'd no idea what he was talking about he hung up but I asked Chloe to 1471 the number to look into it.

That name he used was my previous married name that I've not been known as since my divorce in 1991 and I've never owned commercial property although I have had my own business in my maiden name which I sold in 2002 (the business not my maiden name [emoji16])

I've googled the phone number and the company is legit but still dodgy in that the money charged for business rates reduction is exorbitant and the appeals are rarely successful and with plenty of nuisance calls from that number reported.

Here comes the really weird bit though, nobody, not even my hubby has my works phone number, except I had to give it to my bank this morning.

Is this just a coincidence or is it possible that my bank has passed on my personal info?  but even if they have how the hell has this company attached that number to a name I haven't used in over 25yrs?  and wtf was the shite about a meeting I'd had??

Proper doing my head in now!  The more I think about it the more it's annoyed me [emoji48]

In this YouTube video, James Corden starts singing a song at 5:10

What is it? I recognise it, but he's altered the lyrics. It's eating me up!
