;D Hopefully that sky rumour is true, sounds like it could be, people saying tba’s in sky’s schedule fits with NBA tip off times so here’s hoping.
was hoping bt may make a late offer as they’ve got the jump on there but if sky broadcast the full inside the nba I will be fine with that

I predict Kyrie and Chris Paul will miss games in the latter stages of the play offs.

Really going out on a limb there.

Butler will play for Wolves vs Spurs in their season opener, that game can be a good watch for all the wrong reasons.

Wes Johnson could be a nice under the radar addition for the Pels. Possibilities for him to average double digit points there I reckon. New Orleans will probably look to chuck up a ton of 3s now Cousins has moved on.

Spurs should have signed Crawford, with Murray out for the season, White out for 8 weeks, we only have Mills as the PG.

Sky going all-out with their coverage. Personally preferred it on BT as I could record entire matches, although by all accounts Sky are doing more highlights shows, catch up etc.

Looking forward to seeing Hayward tonight, Boston were so good defensively last year but they’ll be on a different level with him starting this season. Can’t be arsed to predict who’ll finish where etc. but let’s be honest Warriors are winning 3 on the bounce!

Really curious what type of season he will have under Pop and if they can form a 1-2 punch with Lamarcus.

Wild predictions for next 12 months  by Zach Lowe, interesting read.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/24988629/zach-lowe-crazy-predictions-2018-19-nba-season

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo wins MVP and makes an All-Defense team
2. Milwaukee finishes third in the East, ahead of Philly
3. Kevin Durant signs with the Knicks
4. Kristaps Porzingis plays in 20 or fewer games
5. Four teams win 60 games
6. Kemba Walker re-signs in Charlotte
7. Khris Middleton gets almost $30 million per year
8. Nikola Jokic makes his first All-Star team
9. Denver declines its team option on Paul Millsap and re-signs him for less
10. Al Horford does his version of the same thing
11. Marc Gasol opts out and leaves Memphis
12. Denver hosts a first-round playoff series
13. Anthony Davis wins Defensive Player of the Year
14. New York trades Courtney Lee
15. Sacramento does not receive a first-round pick for renting its space
16. Boston receives two of three possible extra first-round picks
17. Portland and Washington implode
18. The Lakers to hold their cards into the summer
19. Terry Rozier wins Sixth Man of the Year (and stays the season)
20. Boston does not trade Rozier during the season
21. Trading Marcus Morris seems like a fait accompli
22. Malcolm Brogdon turns down the Josh Richardson extension
23. Spencer Dinwiddie turns down an extension
24. Kawhi Leonard (maybe) signs with the (maybe) Clippers
25. Cleveland trades Kevin Love and Kyle Korver
26. George Hill and JR Smith are guaranteed only $4.87 million combined in 2019-20, but will earn $33.7 million this season. Why not peddle those deals in exchange for dead contracts that run longer than those attached to Hill and Smith -- plus a first-round pick?
27. Orlando trades Nikola Vucevic but keeps Aaron Gordon
28. The never-ending decline in offensive rebounding continues
29. The Clippers trade two of Lou Williams, Tobias Harris, Patrick Beverley and Avery Bradley
30. Utah re-signs Ricky Rubio
31. Golden State becomes the first team with two 50/40/90 players
32. Phoenix trades for Tyus Jones
33. Willy Hernangomez supplants Frank Kaminsky as Charlotte's backup center
34. The eight East playoff teams are - Boston, Toronto, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Indiana, Miami, Washington, Detroit
35. The eight West playoff teams if Minnesota trades Butler - Golden State, Houston, Oklahoma City, Utah, Denver, Lakers, New Orleans, Portland
36. The eight West playoff teams if Minnesota keeps Butler/everyone doesn't murder each other - Golden State, Houston, Oklahoma City, Utah, Denver, Lakers, New Orleans, Minnesota
37. And the winner is ... Golden State over Boston in 6

Zach Lowe can get fcked for not picking SA to make the playoffs. I mean come on. A team with both DeRozan and Aldridge won't make the playoffs?

Davis and Towns are 2 of my favourite players in the league, so I hope they make the playoffs for that reason alone. Denver are okay too.

I should of said my crazy prediction as obviously because of Lebron it won't happen but them missing the playoffs is more likely than the Spurs.

Spurs will always be a playoff team under Pop, also DeRozan is my dark horse candidate for MVP I think he's going to have an amazing season.

I’m into basketball - went to Boston, became a Celtics fan through watching a game. But I’m still pretty unclear on the leagues/process of drafts, etc. Anywhere that can improve my general understanding?

You might be interested in Bill Simmons' awesome book which is about as complete an overview of the game and all the teams that you could possibly wish to read. It's pretty good fun and is a definite cheat sheet for people who've come to the game late...

The conferences should be more balanced this year than they have been in the past ten years, but I am all for it. Some of the teams that have made it to the playoffs in the Eastern Conference the last few years have been truly awful.

Can't say I'm surprised. Carmelo has always been a volume scorer, nothing more really. Ariza is a huge loss for them.

I expect them to experience a big hangover this year. They had Golden State right where they wanted them and could not close out the series. They won't be presented with that opportunity this year.

Have always been amazed by some basketball footages I've seen in the past. Never been fully into it but a bit annoyed that Sky are broadcasting it now instead of BT. I binned sky sports off last month in favour of BT Sports.
Always enjoyed coming home of a night at stupid oclock and catching a game.
