Midfield (and defence) are not moving the ball quick enough so they are always set.
Firmino coming deep to get the ball isnt helping, but I presume its from frustration.

Midfield isn't working and everything is too slow. Mane and Firmino are coming back into midfield looking for the ball.

The only reason Fulham would have been vaguely onside is because of Robertson's trailing ankle (a part of the body you can score with) which is a number of inches goalside of the rst of his body. By that measure though there is plenty of Mitrovic's body which is goalside.

VAR would still have prevented the quick restart though...

It's annoying me that our performance has given them encouragement. They'll have come here expecting a battering, but at halftime they'll be thinking they can get something out of this and perhaps feeling slightly hard done by.
