I personally think there should be a huge push for post-game suspensions, the way Nani carried on today was a really poor advertisement for football. Think there were 3? - at least - separate occasions when he just blatantly dived, and while I assume it's just cramp, I hope to god he's torn his hamstring right off the bone. Disgusting display.

Thoroughly outclassed for all bar about...20 minutes. I'm sure people will cling onto the old "Oh, Webb's bottled it again", but I put all the blame for that result on Roys doorstep. Awful starting XI, generated absolutely nothing whatsoever, got 2 goals from mistakes, then just sat back and let them come at us. Substitutions were mediocre, still had the likes of Babel on the bench ffs, just sat there tweeting or whatever.

Fair play to Berbatov, think we saw goal of the season in the middle there, and those 2 headed chances, 6 months ago he'd have sent them both wide.

There is a lot to be worried about, and I'm just afraid the scoreline will be used to gloss over what was a thoroughly embarrassing performance.

Regardless of Konchesky's performance, why on earth was Hodgson switching our Left Backs when the score was 2-2 and we were bossing the match. Absolutely defies belief for me. Putting on a pacy winger could have kept the Mancs on the backfoot, instead we absolutely bottled it. Devastated with the manager's performance.

Im still at a loss with the subs... Raul had a good game, ive been impressed with what ive seen so far hes gonna be a cracking player for us, but lucas should have come on for Poulson, not Raul, UTD fans couldnt believe there luck when we took him off.  Babel chould have come on instead Jova.

The only time we were better is the time when we scored our two goals, tactics were working and we started making some pretty decent counters, why take out Mereiles is beyond me, if you wanted to sub Meireles so badly then Pacheco would've made much more sense, and if you want to waste a change like the Agger instead of Konchesky one, why didn't you put Carra on the left and Agger in the centre and make sure that we have a good header in Agger to take out their crosses.

They totally controlled us bar 15-20 mins and went for it when it was level, we didn't and were happy with the point, totally small time mentality, Roy has to change his tactics because they are clearly not working, if reverting back to those who made us demolish Europe and the league two years ago means we get results then so be it, his stubborness is truning into stupidity because and someone correct me, we only made less than 20 goal attempts in the five league games and that is not acceptable for a team like Liverpool.

Nani is a big bastard, and I hope someday someone will break his leg in two. Not a great game but we showed great character, I think Hodgson blown it when he subbed Meireles, our best player today in my opinion, should have replaced Cole who was invisible today. but I think we come out stronger from this game Torres will be encouraged from the penalty he earned and Gerrard of course with a brace.

I was puzzled by Stevie G playing in front of the back 4 with Raul behind Torres - seemed to be the wrong way around.  Maybe Roy thought that by inviting Manu onto us, SG could hit them on the break with a killer pass from deep......?

Gerrard is more involved in the game today than he has ever been the last few matches. I think Roy got that right.

The winner was disgraceful defending from Carra. He was outmuscled and out jumped by Berbatov, Not good enough.

Konchesky was inadequate again. Terrible position sense for someone so 'experienced and steady'. Oh and if you're put on the post on a corner, it means stand at the post...NOT 3 yards behind the line and 3 feet away from the post.

Poulsen improved as the game went on but he is just not mobile enough. Painful viewing at times. Should have been Lucas in there except Lucas wasnt signed by the manager.

Not sure why Meireles was played off Torres.....brainstorm from Roy? Possibly....anyway, it didnt work. Lets have him in his familiar combative central position in future

knew we'd lose in the end. the comeback was great, stevie deserves respect for keeping his bottle but they were dangerous down the flanks and we were shite defending against them.

gutted, would have prefered losing 3-0. masks the defensive weaknesses we have. johnson is absolutely shite, giggs was taking the piss out of him all game. bit too soon for me to analyse what exactly is wrong with the defence, but the marking on berbatov was weak.
