They were on the slide at the back end of last season and ever since he's pretty much been saying publicly the players aren't up to it. He's been looking for his pay-off.

They were the biggest nap for relegation there's been for a while. They just about got automatic promotion but tried to throw it away. They had an 18 point lead over Forest around December but Forest would have gone above them if they'd beat them in the penultimate game. Blackburn and QPR (who were up there with them at Christmas) also fell off a cliff and missed out on the play offs. Other than Fulham and Forest (post-Cooper) it was a weak league. Even Forest knew they needed a new team, whereas Bournemouth hadn't strengthened.

Parker isn't up to much but a new manager isn't going to keep them up.

Just speaking facts ultimately though. Can't blame him  He will be the one that gets canned if they're sat at the bottom even if they know after not investing they'll probably be coming back down.

Not sure any manager will keep Bournemouth up , can see them going for Big Sam, Tony Pulis, Sean Dyche type.

Who’s next though? Think it’s still Gerrard/Rodgers, with Lampard a very close third.

Stevie next I'd imagine. They've got Arsenal and City next, and he's not getting anything out of those two games. Shame, but I think he's best off out that club, they've never really taken to him and seem to just want Dean Smith back as he's "one of our own".

Thought that might happen, he's been moaning before the season started about signings (rightly).
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Parker's post-match interview after we mauled them was his death warrant, I believe.
He kept on repeating that he needed help from the club. He was clearly hurt by the defeat and I reckon he carried that on until they got back home.

As Lobo hinted at, this probably has less to do with the on the pitch stuff than something off the pitch.

They played Villa, City, Arsenal and us.

Bournemouth are dropping regardless of who is there IMO but it probably is a bit harsh. When he got promoted with Fulham last time around I actually don't think they were one of the worst teams to go town, so I was interested in seeing what he could do with Bournemouth this season. As I say they look stuffed anyway. Suppose it's about getting someone in who can take them back up next season.

At least that's the closest Mr. Dyche will ever come to coaching on the Mediterranean ;D
