Loving the new series...cast is excellent....even enjoying Alan Davies's contribution, which has surprised me no end
They have life in them, they have humour, they're arrogant, they're cocky and they're proud. And that's what I want my team to be.

Audience adds a lot, Gregg is better playing up to the audience. I like the 5 on this series, it's a good variation, but I think the tasks have been a bit weak. They are getting too precise with wording and not allowing for the funny creativity / cheating
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

Yeah you are right with the tasks being particularly strict. Has been enjoyable. Morgana, Victoria and Guz have been excellent.

Was great. Adored Morgana, Victoria & Guz especially but the other two were good as well.

I've seen Chris & Judi on TV before. Never watched Father Ted and no idea who the other two are.

In character as Dougal ;D

I like Chris Ramsey, I think he'll be great value. Sophie Duker is a good stand-up, enjoyed her chatting with Richard Herring on RHLSTP.

I don't know Judi Love well but a FB friend is a fan of hers so her videos pop up on my newsfeed.

And Bridget Christie is brilliant, though quite surprised she's doing Taskmaster ;D

If Bridget Christie is treated really well she might convince hubby to do the next series
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Enjoyed that special episode. It definitely feels better with an audience and them all sat together.
Claudia was great. Alex does a good piss take of her in the stage task. The rest of them were all pretty good really.

Finished series 9 (slowly working my way through), which I thought was great. Thought I'd hate Ed Gamble, but he was brilliant.

The new years treats have been a welcome surprise, shows how versatile the format can be and able to coax laughs out of nearly anyone.

Just been in the Simpsons threads, and with the ratings of in mind, favourite task.

Alan Carr or wishful thinking David Mitchell.

Mitchell has pretty much ruled himself out

Quote
"I've been asked and I've said 'no thanks'", explained Mitchell. "It's a very good show but i don't want to be on it. My feeling is that I'd be shit but not in a funny way. People think maybe I'd be a good sport about it and I don't think people thinking that will increase if I'm on it. It's like I've been asked to be on Celebrity Mastermind because people think I'd be quite good at that. So why would I do it then. All I can do is ruin it by going on it and turning out to be considerably more ignorant than people expect."

Victoria Coren Mitchell appearing on it and enjoying the experience did not change his mind: "She really likes challenges and puzzles. I find puzzles puzzling."
