Really game for this trip, a part of the world I'd normally wouldn't visit.

Realistically how easy will it be to get tickets for this? A case of, if you want one you'll get one?

Now you’re in the right thread haha....yes think so. Believe tickets will be available through FIFA soon. Not sure on deal with club

Always get there in the end haha...nice one, not sure whether to book early or wait until tickets are released from FIFA, for flights and hotel it's actually not too bad for 4 nights. Considering Kiev last year was double for flights and 1 night stay!

Flights etc going to be more in demand than tickets so if you’re intent on going I’d book up myself (indeed we have done)

Booked the late Tuesday from Heathrow for me and my lad are early weds so 4 night stay until Sunday , £560 train should be about £60 return from lime street . Just looking for a decent hotel now with decent reviews but they seem pretty cheap .

Manchester Oman Air leave Friday night 20.05, arrive 9.20 Via Oman on the Saturday morning. Back Sunday 10.30 am, back in Manchester 18.25 = £661. You could get a room for the Saturday somewhere cheap as Qatar customs may think it strange not to stay anywhere....certainly far cheaper than any day trip if it happens

Nice one, we've booked up today. What hotel did you book, out of interest? My mates on about booking the Millennium Plaza or the Kingsgate hotel.

The Amari hotel Doha

https://www.amari.com/doha/

I always use hotels.com as every ten nights gets you a free one to the average price of the ten so It was about £320 and used the free night and got £80 off it and they now do a pay in three installments so £80 yesterday and then 2 more monthly payments . Breakfast included too  , rooftop pool and right next to the Main metro station which has just been completed . Your spoilt for choice hotel wise at great prices

Have Liverpool even confirmed they’re playing in this yet? I wouldn’t expect them to pull out but I haven’t seen any official confirmation from the club. There’s nothing in the fixtures on the website. And there’s been a fair bit of moral objection.

Wouldn’t want to book till the club have said they’re defo taking part.

Announced by Fifa that we are, fixtures won’t be listed cause they draw hasn’t taken place. Doubt they’d reject playing in it either

Some aren’t built but they have to be 30k to host World Cup matches

The main stadium open for a couple of years is 40k capacity

What do we know yet about ko times? My mate got an email today saying that our flight home has been changed and now it seems too close to the potential end to go and get our stuff and get to the airport for it. Bloody nuisance!! Turkish Airlines flight from Doha. Not sure if the connections from Istanbul have been changed too, or we just get longer there.
He's going to speak to them 2moro and consider our options - might have to cancel and try to re-book but options limited   :-\ Thanks

Update: Had to cancel and re-book diff flights ::)
