Dang, I've got the xbox and I'm not sure how to justify buying a playstation just for one game especially with next gen consoles on the horizon, however "gamings citizen kane" fuck me thats some smoke blown up its arse.

Crash Bandicoot was amazing and so was the jak series. Would make a change from the serious story driven stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised to see ND reveal a new Uncharted for PS4. It's a safe bet to get them started on the new console and they can then venture elsewhere after that, although perhaps a bit quicker than they did with Last of Us.

Last of Us looks bloody fantastic. 'Citizen Kane of games' is a bonkers statement but of all the developers in the world ND would strike me as one of the few that might just be able to justify it.

I get the impression that there is a subtlety to this that you don't get in Uncharted. It's not actually my usual sort of thing, zombies and jumpy scares etc, but it's ND so I'll get it, and no doubt love it.

Promised myself I wouldn't buy it straight away as I have a backlog to get through but if the reviews are as positive as the Empire one then I'll probably cave.

Just played the demo on my mate's PS3. Glitched twice but overall seems like it's going to be a great ride.

Only lasted about 15-20 minutes though, if that.

Ive played the press release only demo on friday and to be honest i thought it was pretty good, the dynamic of the game and the game engine is pretty atmospheric and very film-ish (bad metaphor), however this will sell shed loads and be a success for Naughty dog, if you are a fan of the Uncharted franchise or zombie style movies then you will love this, in parts it reminded me of the NPC style of the games seen in recent games ie - bioshock infinitive. This has convinced me to buy on launch despite me saying previously i wasn't going to bother, there does seems like a few ways to play this game so i think there is a good level of replay-ability about it.

If you have any questions regarding it (bearing in mind ive played the press release only demo) then ill try and answer you
