Probably the only media outlet that didn't jump on each and every scare mongering story to come out of the woodwork - something anyone with half a brain appreciates, so all in all very well covered.

I've got to this thread a bit late but I agree - this is only extra tab I've had open on my browser the past week.  Superb (almost round the clock) coverage with plenty of humour mixed in to all the seriousness.

Yes. At least Barry Glendenning got nowhere near the live coverage. It has to be said that The Guardian have been resolutely anti-Rafa and pro-Roy for the last few seasons...
Be careful, he reads this forum!

Everyone was pro Roy, he did a good job at Fulham.

The Guardian have been guilty of being mean or unfair to Rafa but then they do tend to take the piss out of everyone, even Dark Lord Ferg. Which is nice.

Fantastic stuff from the Guardian - up to the minute coverage with an appropriate amount of sensible analysis... also having the humility to admit confusion when the legalese/claim/counter-claim started to stack up. Helped keep us sane/insane.

Well done!

I followed it all live on the Guardian blog. Amazing, riveting stuff. I can see a tv film being made of it, when the legal dust has settled. No I can get some sleep. Til Sunday. Great stuff, Guardian.

Fully agree, their coverage has been 1st rate.
He wasn't perfect, he made mistakes. But he was genuine. He had the best interests of the club at heart, and gave us a plethora of successful teams that we should have been thankful for.
