He's class; solid defensively, good touch and technique, fast(but not rapid) and two-footed(which helps him beat the press).

He also enjoys the physical battle. Top player.

He's decent at beating players 1v1 too(dribbling). This lad was a steal at £12m.

It is a bit of a refresher to have this lad at left back after Robbo's offensive game has twindled into dust.

Think the spot is his for now even if Robbo is fit imo.

I think he should start. He's the most in form of the two left backs.

I love Robbo, he will go down as a club legend, but prior to his injury he look frustrated and shot mentally. It's understandable too as he has played pretty much every game going for 4 years, with no competition for his place in his club and national team.

Think he just needs a break and now with Kostas, we can afford to give him it.

Excellent performance from the greek scouser. Gives so much balance to the team and seems to have found his crossing boots.

It is high time he got a run of games. The left side looks so much more stable.

Kostas barely puts a foot wrong, he can defend very well and very good in attack. Runs his socks off, fire in the belly. Love it 🇬🇷

The tracking back, tackle and clearance he made at right back was fantastic. Also, loved him celebrations with Matip from his corner.

Another great performance by Tsimi, he never let us down whenever he plays. In my opinion, the quality of his crossing and corner delivery is absolutely first class. Robo’s form has been declining for quite a while and I hope Tsimi will play more regularly from now on.

I think we can all agree that Robertson at his his best is a better option than Kostas.

At the moment though, I feel like more comfortable with Kostas. He seems more disciplined positionally, something we need right now since we are leaking goals left and right. I mentioned it after the Everton game, but his ability and willingness to use his right foot seems like a benefit to us in our buildup play.

His goal celebrations at the end were so funny, he was off miles away on his own going mental in front of the KD and then it was like he suddenly remembered he had team mates to celebrate with and ran to leap on them as well!

Surprised to find this on the third page! Great cross for Nunez’s goal today and already his 5th assist this season.

I don’t even bat an eye when I see him named in the starting XI and I haven’t for some time now. Pretty remarkable for a “backup” left back.

Cost 1/3 of what was paid for Ben Chilwell.

Pegged Kostas at the time to be the better player, full stop. (I know I can't prove that, but it was based on analysis of their champions league playing time). Great work by the recruitment analysts to pick him out of a crowd of players on Champions League no marks.

He has done well but lets have it right, he isnt as good as Robertson. His positioning is a bit nuts. But he is a very able deputy.

I hope he keeps getting gametime. There's no need to run Robertson into the ground when we have an excellent backup in Tsimi. He starts for 90% of the other PL teams so it's in our best interest to keep him happy with his game time, especially with Robertson having patchy form for well over a year. Another excellent no nonsense performance yesterday.

I see you say this non-stop now and I'm a bit confused. The LM in our current 4-4-2 takes up a lot of inside channel positions so whoever plays at LB between Robbo or Tsimikas has a lot of ground to cover and from an attacking perspective is going to be a bit aggressive to counter balance the RB being more reserved. When Robbo is out there I don't notice any appreciable difference in this. When we're defending our own final 3rd they both take up rather reserved positions in line with Virgil. I'm not saying one is better than the other but I don't really get how ones positioning is suspect vs. the other when they are essentially doing the same thing.

He's been used perfectly the past year or so.  Came in when Robertson was injured, started cup matches and now while Robertson is feeling his way back into fitness, he's starting matches to help.

I don't think he's at Robertson's level, certainly nowhere near the Scot at his best, but he's been managed brilliantly as a viable back up.

one of the most annoying things about spending time on RAWK is the realization that every player we have has to be close to perfect in order to avoid criticism from some supporters.

the criticism and relentless put-downs, based on microscopic analysis game after game, is so fucking annoying.

We always look stable defensively when he plays. Doesnt take too much risks and the only full back in our squad who actually tries to block crosses from coming in.

Crossing is brilliant on most occasions and is tidy in possession. I hope he gets more game time.
