Yes. Our defence has improved massively but we still struggle with the run and our special teams are likely to do anything, apart from make a play. It's going to be a nail biter.

About as inevitable as the Cowboys last week. How the Special Teams coach is still in a job is any ones guess.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Managed to stay awake  for both games. I’m officially on the Bengals bandwagon now. Can’t see them getting to the Superbowl when they cannot protect their QB properly, though . How many sacks were that yesterday?

I totally get the special teams for GB were awful last night, but that's hardly the only reason why they lost.

They had 4 quarters to put meaningful points on the board, and credit to the Niners defence they kept them in check and baffled them over and over.

All the talk about the elements affecting the Niners, in the end the Packers were just as affected and couldn't get anything going.

Green Bay should add a retractable roof. Lambeau's cold weather has outlived its usefulness for them. Had it not started snowing at that low temperature, I'm nearly certain they'd cruised it home. As it was, it nearly eliminated the passing game and all it took was a really bad punt for it to go sideways.

For teams like Pittsburgh, Kansas City and New England completely outdoor stadiums are just fine due to the not that harsh winter climate in comparison, but for Green Bay it just gets messy.

Very true.  Couldn’t move the ball when it mattered in the second half.  Three 3 and outs in 4 possessions.  The last two were particularly terrible. Did absolutely nothing and then punted.  For all of the Niners troubles, Jimmy G got some nice first down throws to Kittle.  Packers couldn’t design anything for Adams/Jones.  Rodgers’ final pass (that third and 10 heave into double coverage) summed it up.

One other incident: after Jimmy G’s red zone pick and the 75-yard pass to Jones right before half, Jones for some inexplicable reason slowed up and cut inside to stay inbounds, forcing GB to use their final timeout.  Rodgers only had one play (the sack) before the field goal attempt, which was blocked.  If Jones goes out of bounds, Rodgers has 20 seconds, 1 timeout, from the 49ers’ 14-yard line.  Could’ve had multiple chances to go up 14-0.

Just another missed opportunity by the Packers in another tough loss.

King Kenny.

I do t know what's funnier, that the Packers have gone 0-4 in playoffs since Rodgers was drafted, or that the stellar QBs that Rodgers has lost to are Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, and Jimmy Garoppolo (twice).

That list does make it extra funny ;D

But I think the 0-4 must have a different start point to him being drafted, cos I thought he won one superbowl?

Went to bed after the first quarter. After watching that first drive by the Packers, I can't believe they only scored 3 points the rest of the way.

Not the first time a team's initial scripted plays go well and then they fall apart. it seems like the browns have done it about 4 times in the past couple of seasons.

Pass rush is good enough to keep going until the 4th Qtr. But as we know, there's no known examples of Brady overcoming a deficit in the playoffs
