They need to drop a shit load of points for their high standards and it's still a 6 points lead IF we win our games in hand and even then they will most likely have a superior goal difference, on top of that the best we can hope for is probably a draw at the Etihad seeing as they have never lost to us in the league at home under PEP in almost 6 seasons and our recent record against them is not that great.

That’s the spirit!

I think they're more likely to start dropping unexpected points now than it is for us to win all our remaining game.

I'd say we have far more mental bottle than they have to recover from set backs.  They have a crazy, control freak in charge that's already started losing it.

Basically it's in our own hands to get within 3 points. If we can do that, then it's game on.

This is my attitude too, we are more than capable of doing that, this title is far from over, I think it'll go down to the wire again.

Couldn’t do much more this week. Two points gained on City.if we keep winning until we play them it makes that a huge game.

If they drop points before we do it makes things very interesting.

I’d rather be in City’s position and obviously they’re decent favourites still but we still have a sniff.

The chase is on, they chased us down 3 years ago now it’s our turn. 8 games out of 18 wins they have won by 1 goal, they can’t do that the rest of the season.

Been a great month for us after the dip through half of December. Capitalised on City dropping points yesterday. Players coming back before we play again. A lot to look forward to

Yes, I’d say Mo be back earliest as Egypt are up against it with Ivory Coast next and then even if they beat them they’ll probably have Morocco after that another tough game.

We've got 48 points with 48 to play for which is good in a normal season, the problem is the standards City have set in the last 5 years where they haven't had so much as a bad run of form.

That week where we lost to Leicester and they won in the last minute at Arsenal has cost us dear. If those results flip then we're still neck and neck.

We've played the majority of our tricky away games now, bar City where we'll need to win, or at least get a result.

As it stands, it's in our hands to take it to the last day at least. Win our game in hand and win at City and we're 3 behind them, goal difference neck and neck.

The good thing is this week has put some momentum back in our season which we'd lost since pretty much the first Covid outbreak when the teamsheet came out at Spurs and we were robbed by the officials that day.

We still have a chance but we simply have to defend better as a team. Won't stick 8/9/10 wins in a row together like we need if we are so easy to play through/behind.

I do believe in this team, and I also can't see city winning another 12 in a row. We'll have chances to get right back in it but we can't afford to keep giving teams a sniff.

We did win 6 in a row before Spurs and were starting to get on a roll. Covid and the officials killed us that day.

I don't think we'll have big winning sequences but on average for every 5 games we need to win 4 to at least stay thereabouts.

We do need to cut out the sloppiness at the back. City have been more effective in closing out games. When they score first, they win.
