I got Papijump and Dactyl the other day - both rather addictive in their own way during the commute!

OK

I just installed 'Remote', and I think a little bit of wee has come out!!!

My iPhone is now a remote control for my whole iTunes library, and it works scandalously well. It's actually hard to describe how fucking good this is. It has everything from volume control, track scanning, album art, library, everything.

Even better, I can control airtunes speakers through it, so I can just pump it to anywhere I have a airport express and a set of powered speakers - on the fly!!

Unbelievable application
Remote is a great little app :)

Meh. I have a lot of videos in iTunes, so I found the app a bit crap because it doesn't include a fullscreen button. Anyway, I wrote my own little iTunes remote that is a big fullscreen button, so now I'm made up with Remote.

Maybe you should publish it ad-hoc (in the interest of sharing) :D

I'll send you it if you want, but it will only run on Leopard without a lot of work, and it only works on OS X.

Anyone tried filemagnet, superb value for money. Can view pdf's, excel, word documents, powerpoints etc on your ipod, works great

A steal at Ł2.99 but sadly for mac's at the moment but they are working on a windows version

http://www.magnetismstudios.com/filemagnet/

By running the FileMagnet Uploader on your Mac, you can wirelessly copy files over your wi-fi network. FileMagnet also lets you copy files from your phone to another mac - use your iPhone like a hard drive!

Have look at airsharing, It's a good App too. I got these two Apps when they were free, usually happens for a couple of weeks when Apps first come out. I was going to dump filemagnet because I preferred airsharing but as it now costs €3.99 I think I'll keep it. I bet they'll be charging for any future updates though.

I also like measures, which is a conversion programme, because I can use it at work, it saves me booting up the laptop on site, which is a time saver.

I downloaded the Koi Pond when it was free, and noticed they now charge for the new version.  My app just updated and now have all the new features, not paid a penny.

The new Lightsabre update looks good. 8)

I've downloaded the PlayStation emulator from Cydia today. Looks great. Also an app which allows you to link up your laptop to the iPod and use the iPod's internet connection for the laptop wirelessly. Pretty smart, like.

I've mailed you the app, and another one that actually does something worthwhile, but I think you'll be disappointed: they're Python webapps, not bona-fide iPhone AppStore-type apps.

The updated Facebook app is absolutely brilliant. So much better than the limited v.1.0.

The games should work on both. You'll only have problems with programs that need the microphone (which the Touch doesn't have).
