I've been talking to another mate who was there that day and he says that many accounts given to the Investigating Police (not yorkshire) were involved with editing our accounts.

I lived in

I was visited at home in 1991 and was asked to relate my account of the day, which I gave to the best of my recollection.
I'm now told that my account could have been edited.
Have I the right to ask for a copy of my account to ensure that 100% of my recollections were reported in full.
I would hate the idea, that what I said about that day could have been edited to suit the police purposes.

if you could point me in the right direction I would ask for a copy of my statement and ask others to do the same.

you are best getting in touch with the HJC or HFSG they might be able to point you in the right direction.

I agree with KOTP  - there's a link on the front page Wooltonian, and they should be either able to answer your question or point you int eh right direction.
